Titan Quest: Immortal Throne update

The holiday issue of PC Gamer has some exclusive details on Titan Quest: Immortal Throne, the first official expansion pack for Iron Lore's epic action-RPG. Due early next year, this new campaign serves as a continuation of the original game's storyline, and moves the action to an underworld environment inhabited by 20 new monster types. A ninth skill mastery will also be available, as well as 250 unique weapons and pieces of armor. No pricing has been announced, but Immortal Throne is expected to provide 10-15 hours of additional gameplay.

Have any of you had problems playing this game on an LCD monitor. I recenlty spent $2000 just upgrading my graphics card/montherboard/cpu/monitor. I cam out with a very very nice setup and i can't find a game that won't run smoothly with the graphics maxed out. But this game on an LCD monitor has all this wierd lines moving through it as i walk around. It is like the refresh rate of the monitor struggles hardcore with this game only, but Quake 4 on max settings runs beautifully. Can anyone point me to the problem.

@Foetoid, Iron Lore is supposed to be issuing a patch pretty soon, if they haven't already. They said that installing the expansion will also patch the game for better performance. The TQ Vault has downloads and a good forum, so I would go there first.

Foetoid:
I had a problem with a slow mouse, but smooth graphics on an LCD Display. Turns out, one solution is to lower the priority of the game to free up some CPU time. This might help you out too. I don't know if the patches address this or not.
