Wait... How does this resemble Halo? The only way I can think of is that it's against aliens.

Looks good though, especially that telekinesis type thing

Yeah, I don't really like the targeting system either. However, I'm sure that with such a high profile game that one will be able to turn the auto-target off. And even if I'm not able to do so it won't really bother me that much because Mass Effect will make up for it in so many other areas.

Well they did show you some kind of interrogation or confrontation at the least between an alien and a human at 40 seconds in, so you know this will be more than a repetitive, linear, mission based game.

...fellas its not a shooter... its a 3rd person tactical shooter rpg, its a bioware game (the guys who made KOTOR)

I don't really get the negativity that some of you 'gamers' are spouting. That looks pretty amazing. I think it is some of the best graphics yet. the gameplay looks good and it looks quite dynamic.

Geez, people, get off the high horse. This is going to be a good game.

Well it's not Halo, and I thought everyone knew about the squad dynamics and telekinesis (mass effect) forever...

This is a must-have game I must have.

Looks more real time than I would have expected. More Jade Empire than KOTOR (which was neverwinter/infinity engine realtime-with-pause which is ultimately just dressed up turnbased). I think the autotarget is a good thing. It's a matter of preference of course, but in an rpg, I prefer that whether you hit or not should depend on stats rather than player's ability to aim.

Oh, yeah. I think it looks freaking awesome. It's really the only thing that has me interested in a 360 and I just can't justify that for a single title.

This game is an RPG, they just took the real time fighting to a whole new level. It looks like it is shaping up to be a great game. Who wants to play an RPG without a little aim assist, beceause all in all its not about your ability to aim and shoot, its about planning, character dev, weapons mods, teamwork, special abilities, etc. the fact that it has you control all the fighting is just a GREAT bonus that should add tons to the games playabilty and fun factor.

This was the game I was most interested in when getting a 360, closely followed by Oblivion and Gears of War. Bioware make excellent games, ones that stick with you because of the story and the feeling that you really contributed to it. Which makes sense, since your choices affect the outcome unlike in games like Half Life.

Alan Wake looks really interesting too, and has the best natural environment graphics I've ever seen. The 360 is going to have a brilliant 2007!

Just wondering...I saw the trailer for this game on tv...Looks neat...I was wondering if anyone knows where to find som cool pics of the dude fighting the giant alien spider thingy, and if anyone knows the name of the song playing during the trailer...it's bugging the crap out of me!!!

This game is going to be awesome. I love that anti gravity attack thats just sick. Based on the screen shots I've seen the graphics in this are going to be amazing, the game play looks great too.

Since forever, you retard. It's always been third person versus aliens with squad dynamics and telekinesis. You must have been giving your colon a tongue bath when the previews and trailer that made that blatantly clear came out MONTHS AGO.

And how is this game like Halo? Oh, so any game that is in the future and has aliens in it, is like Halo then? I didn't know Halo had exclusive rights to such a scenario.

I guess that means there's only room for 2 more games, right? One that has exclusive rights to past events, and another that has rights to present events. Any other of the millions of games are just copying these 3.
