I get it, he's throwing up the gang sign for Wii.

Life sure would have been a lot less interesting without this guy.

Thanks Shiggy, Happy birthday!

You just gotta love this guy. He's an example to all of us of why we play games. You can tell from his constant smile that he truly loves his job and loves making games that we enjoy. I happen to be a 360 fanboy and have no problem trashing ken, kaz, and phil; but to trash shiggy is to trash the entire industry. I welcome many, many more years of his work with open arms and a big, shiggy-smile

I'll stand up for Shiggy! Not to take anything away from some of the great other names out there...Kojima...Meier...Wright...but Miyamoto is tops in my book when it comes to the advancement of our hobby/vice/addiction.

Happy birthday from someone who's had their most memorable gaming moments from your creative genius.

Oh my, I just noticed the Pop'n controller on the shirt.
Just noticed the Taiko Drum Master and Samba de Amigo maracas as well.
Rhythm games FTW.

As for Shiggy, the man is a god in gaming.
He is in the business because he loves his job and does it for the benefit of us all.
Here's to him, and hoping he creates even more wonderful games!
Happy Birthday!

Flashing gang signs for the wii? Doubtfull, to me he's saying:

"I'm this many years old."

54 years of never growing up indeed. This man is retarded.

Is his Birthday on the 16th or the 17th? Because if he turned 54 today in JAPAN, it's the 17th of November. That would rock if I shared a birthday with that guy.

Which means his birthday was officially yesterday.

Or, it's "happy belated birthday" at this point, and in fact was when this post was made (a full day too late).

Sorry to nitpick.

btw, "shiggy"?? wtf??

(and yes, im standing up, and my co-workers are looking funny at me)

Thanks for all the things you have given to me, you made my childhood really happy, and everytime you make something new, the only thing i can say is: "Man, that is so obvious and clever, why nobody saw that before?"

No one saw it because it takes a real genius to think like you

THANK YOU!
