Wii annoyance #006
Disc Channel does not display GameCube disc information.
I know the information is there on the disc.
If you boot to the GameCube dashboard then enter your disc and go to "Game Play" it will tell you some info about the game; Game Logo, Title, Year, Publisher, and a quick description (Animal Crossing example: Welcome to Animal Crossing, where something happens everyday-whether you're here or not!).

I didn't realise you had to plug it into the Wiimote! That means you need four Wiimotes AND four classic controllers for some multiplayer. I was under the impression it plugged into the GC ports. What a rip-off. Thanks Nintendo, but I'll stick with the GC controller. (BTW I do think the Wii rocks, I'm a Ninty fanboy). But as I'm here, I may have a go at modding the controller to work in a GC port.

Apparently this somehow failed to post when I first wrote it on the 20th:

"I can hardly believe that everyone before me has missed this point: THE WIIMOTE HAS A WRIST STRAP. I can only presume that this "wrist strap" is designed to "strap" the Wiimote to one's "wrist". Seriously, people. The first time I ever used the Classic Controller attachment, I thought to myself, "Now where do I put the Wiimote? Oh yeah, my wrist, of course." Just like that. Meanwhile, Mr. Ransom-Wiley (must...avoid...Mega Man...joke) is having fits wondering how he could possibly attach his Wiimote somehow to his body without holding it, and somehow never thinking to use the goddamn strap attached to it. If this is a joke, it's not funny. And if it isn't a joke, then Joystiq is a joke."

Please excuse the caustic tone; however, I stand by what I said 100%. If anyone has a wrist so weak he can't have the Wii Remote hanging off of it, that person . . . no, sorry, if your wrist was that weak, you would be breaking it twice weekly.

So what's up with this controller? http://www.kfj.f2s.com/revolution-controller-2.jpg

Is it a scrapped mock-up? is it a fake? Doesn't seem to be supported on the Nintendo website...
