This game is almost as bad as Red Steel.
No wait, at least here I don’t get randomly stuck and forced to move in a circle while the pixilated enemies slice me to death.

Dude, redsteel is an amazing game, in my opinion it reviews ranged from 60-90 (90 from Ngamer magazine)

While Mobile Suit Gundam: Crossfire is complete bullshit, not even worth a penny. The last Gundman was way better then this one.

I don't really understand the Red Steel hate. Controls are rough until you learn to control your hand and not point off the screen.

I figured that out last night, second time I played it.

Ouch. The only PS3 launch title I'm interested in is Resistance, but that will probably pass by the time I actually pick up a PS3. I'm more than willing to wait for new FF's, GT's and Metal Gears before adding another next-gen system to the house. Make no mistake, those games will be awesome... but right now the PS3 is looking like a turd.

#13 i got feel sorry for you. You waited so long for sony to finally deliver the ps3 (after the spring 2006 launch BS) and after probably braving the elements and long wait in crowded lines to get your US$600 console plus US$60 games you got stuck with rubbish. BTW are the graphics on these games better then 360s current games (GoW) - oh crap no, sorry. Not even 1080p. Shame. Oh well that was US$600 well spent (NOT). You could however sell it on ebay and make a killing, the price of ps3 probably rose after the announcement that sony would (apparently)only able to achieve 10% of there production estimates. Thats your best way to unload those crappy ps3 games. Good luck.

Honestly, this game looks like it was rushed, which in turn gave it the score that it deserved. That and it had no online multiplayer support. As a Gundam fan, all I can say is that Mobile Ops (another Gundam game coming out next year) for the 360 is where it's truly at, since it's Battlefield 2-like gameplay will redeem Bandai/Namco of this black eye. Also, it seems that I hate to admit it, but anything that any game sold in this country with "Gundam" in its title is destined for failure (except of course Side Story 0079 for the Dreamcast, that one was hawt). Mobile Ops, it's all up to you now!

I just don't get the Red Steel hate. Sure, it was hard to control for about 30 minutes before I got the hang of it, but now I would never want to go back to WASD+Mouse or :barf: Dual Analog!

The reviews don't even make sense if you compare them to each other. How can you reconcile the reviews of IGN (Great graphics marred by poor control) with that of 1up (Great control marred by poor graphics)? The fact that the game has such a wide spread (90-50) tells me that the haters put about 10 minutes in to the game before condemning it. Give it a chance, I thought it was great.

The Nintendo "fanboys" are complaining about Red Steel because its a horrible game and we feel betrayed. All the commercials and hype the game received!
But here is why Red Steel fails.

1. Buggy multiplayer.
2. Horrible AI.
3. Buggy/bad controls.
4. Graphics that make Club Drive (for the Jag) seem like a masterpiece. And why is there no gore or violence in this FPS? I want to see limbs getting sliced with blood spewing Kill Bill style… or something!
5. See #3. For a console where I paid at least $100 for the controller itself, it better be flawless!

Thank god for Zelda and SMB or else my Wii would have already been returned.

As for Gundam... Give me Gundam over Red Steel any time... Btw, I have not actually tried out Gundam.

yeah...ubisoft put out some pretty bad games for the Wii, and resteel isn't one of them. And let's take a look at this thread for a second. The title says, in a nut shell, "Gundum for the PS3 sucks." Now, no where in the artical does it say anything nintendo, or redsteel.

So yall stop trying to find things wrong the Wii for a second, and focus at the task at hand; Gundum is a bad game. Don't buy it, if you already haven't yet. Even if your a fan of the show. That is what I am getting from these reviews.

Two E3 memories about this game.

One, at E3, this was the only game that looked like it was a real graphical leap forward; everything else looked like it was a slightly sharper PS2 game.

Two, the L1 button (I believe) was labelled as the "Rock On" button. Obviously, it was meant to be played with the Guitar Hero controller, and the poor scores are resulting from the fact that you can't use those controllers on the PS3.

This is laughable. The game did not look rushed when they showed the movie at E3 sometime back. Everybody was all hyped about what the cell processor could do. Now they know that they got suckered into this. The graphics are horrible. The gameplay even worst. Can there be more bad news about an overpriced system in less than a week of bieng launch? Does anyobe have any good news except the fact that you may have got one on launch day? This is sad.

Average Gamerankings score for all 17 Xbox 360 Launch Titles: 77.4%

Too early to GameRank the average for PS3 (something like 71% right now, but not enough outlets reporting)...

The reason this is selling well in Japan is because some respected magazine gave it REALLY high scores. Why, I have no idea, and don't care to find out, but I'm sure every single one of those people who bought a copy are ticked off and back to playing their DSs.
