Wrap your feet in an NES

We don't know much about this NES-inspired shoe except:
- It was designed as part of the SneakerPimps "sneaker and street based art show."
- A blogger says that the maker says the shoe actually plays games.
- They look extremely uncomfortable.
- We really want a pair.

That's craptacular! A giant Ken Kutaragi head on the side would be tight!

What a horrible thing to do to an NES.

Talk about gaming on the go... heyo! I bet you'll be playing with power in those shoe... portable power! Boy, I'd hate to play basketball against someone with a Game Genie plugged in, baddabing! I'll be here all night folks, try the fish.

I know the wii will play the classics but that no reason for people to keep trashing their nes. (even if it is an odd kind of homage.)

the sneaker pimps are a band and they designed a bunch shoes a few years back as a promotional thing. they were each one of a kind and were given out to some celebrities (i recall madonna was one who got a pair). they had one pair that was sold on ebay for something like $400. who knows where the rest went.

Nice #4. I LOL'd at that.
I'm wondering about the drive cover on the shoe though. There's a cartridge in, but the cover looks like it's down. And even if it's not, how are you supposed to fit your foot into that thing?

@7: It's more of a console shaped like a shoe than a shoe shaped like a console.
