Score an Xbox 360 for $100

Amazon has a love/hate relationship going with us right now. We hate that they made it so hard to get the Wii, but we love the fact that they put the deal offering an Xbox 360 for $100 up for the democratic vote, and it won hands down. Granted, the competition was a bike, a Barbie doll, and a one year Amazon Prime membership, but who's complaining? A one hundred dollar console is still sweet.

Starting tomorrow at 11AM PST, keep your fingers poised over your keyboard and be ready to swoop in and buy it, even if it means tearing yourself away from Aunt Mary's sweet potato pie. They'll be offering up 1,000 of these suckers, but you must wait until Thursday at 11AM (again, Pacific time, folks) and buy it via the Amazon Customers Vote Page in order to receive the discount, not the regular product page.

Remember that Amazon had the Wii go on sale on Sunday and it sold out in one minute, so make sure you're properly adrenalized before this sale. We recommend doing some strong finger workouts tonight in preparation.

I don't care who you are or what console you are "allied" with, if you don't at least try to buy this, you do not like video games.

It's a 360 for less than a DS. I'm tempted to try to buy one just on general principle so I can sell it to someone who actually wants it (for the same hundred dollar price) to take one out of Ebayer's hands.

I had been checking Amazon not stop every minute from midnight on 11/17 to the afternoon of 11/18 for a PS3. On that Saturday evening, they put up the PS3 20GB's. I ordered one, my mom ordered one, my girlfriend ordered one, and a shitload of people (from the Amazon discussion boards) ordered one. Then - what happens? THREE, count it, 3 days later, I get an e-mail (as did everyone else) saying the PS3's were put up by accident. WOOPS! And all the orders were being cancelled.

What's even more rediculous is after my girlfriend and I purchased one, they stopped selling. THEN, later in the night, they were put up again when my mom ordered one. WOOPS x 2?

what is 11am Pacific in Massachusetts? I am in eastern time, so is it a 3 hour difference?

Way to ruin it. I say you guys should get me one.

A friend of mine has been gathering anyone he can find to help him get one. He has about 3 people helping him. He's more dedicated then me... and i want it more then him heh. Gl Reuben. XD

Question: Can you upgrade the core system with a hard drive? Even if it is crazy expensive for being proprietary it should still be cheaper overall than the good 360. No hard drive is the only reason I wouldn't want to buy this.

Yes you can upgrade the core system with the 360 hard drive. With this deal, you can actually upgrade the core to match the premium and it still be less expensive than the core at normal price.

Everybody and their mother knows about this promotion now. As big as Amazon.com is... i have my doubts on whether their site will be able to handle the traffic all at one time. Ive got a 360 and dont really need another one, but im going to visit the site just to see if it slows down severely or even shuts down tomorrow.

People who voted get a special code automatically attached to their amazon account, and are notified of qualifying on the same day when they log in and access that page. great heads up, dumbasses, next time think before you give countless other retards hard-ons for thinking their special. No offense here, the 360 can kiss my ass, but the retards underestimated is a grave tactical error :D.

there's already over 100,000 people who have posted their time calibration thing at amazon already. your chances in getting one are already less than 1/100. My only hope is that angry mothers/family tear away a lot of the kids from their computers, and my paganness is rewarded.
