Every store has been sold out since the 19th.

I wanted to go on Black Friday, but every store has been sold out since 7:30 AM on Friday.

Looks like I'll be having a very unhappy Christmas...

I'm not crying because I wasn't denied the console, I just still have to wait for it.

Second shipment: my mother stole my money the day before. The gods of Nintendo-based bad luck must be laughing at me.

And to add to it, the local EB just got a Wii kiosk...it's so pretty O.O

And other people who just now got a part-time job and will probably have to save for 3 months to get one... grr, why did I get a DS Lite when I could have waited one more month... Although right now I don't have that much time to play games that aren't portable.

Well all the hype kind of drives me nuts. There were a few Wii's for sale at amazon but the cheapest was 700. I am not sure if any of them were bundles. I just want a core unit. When will Nintendo get around to getting a great deal of more shipments going? This seems almost as bad as getting a PS3. There needs to be 3 shipments a week to the major retailers. Get a move on big N!

I have Zelda a controller, but still no console.

After waiting in line on 3 seperate days at the nintendo world store for NOTHING, i finally snagged a sealed Wii off of Craigslist for $300. I then went to Toys R Us in Times Square to grab Zelda and another remote. Nobody has nunchuks around these parts though. Wii's are going for 400-600 bucks now on CL, it's really lame. I hope ALL OF YOU get yours soon and enjoy it, it's an awesome system.

I bought 2 Wiimotes and a nunchuck, along with Zelda.

No console though. I walked through around 12 stores. The second target I visited (aroud the 8th store I visited) was the first I saw with Wiimotes. Bought 2 of them, they had no nunchucks though. The 12th store I visited, a Walmart, had a pair of nunchucks and vc controllers. Bought a nunchuck.

Still no Wii.

Got mine on Black Friday at EB Games. I only waited in line for an hour then sales guy let us in until 7am when they sold them to us. They only had 6 which sucked for number 7.

It wasn't hard at all getting my Wii, me and a couple of my friends all showed up at a local best buy at around 10 AM on the Saturday before launch. We were 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th in line. Played some chess, mario kart DS, ate some Mcdonalds, and got very little sleep. In the end, we all walked out of there with a console, and extra controller/nunchuk, Zelda, and Red steel. The ebest buy had a total of 87 consoles, hich leads me to believe its actually hard NOT to get a console if you were at least semi determined to get one.

Went to Gamestop at 3:30 am Friday for 2nd shipment. they had three units, I was number 4 in line. Thoughts of anger and killing filled my head (I ended up throwing my Gatorade bottle at the Wal-mart to the right side of Gamestop and flipping a grocery cart). Been calling everywhere ever since then.

I can't seem to find one anywhere......its making me sad

Snagged two at Best Buy this morning. I was surprised we were the first in line. I guess there's not much hype about the Wii here. Couldn't find Zelda or Metal Slug so it's only Wii Sports for now.

Stay persistent! I was personally told from the managers at GameStop, EB Games, Best Buy, Circuit City, Walmart, and Toys R Us that they'll have shipments coming in every week or so between now and Christmas.

Of course, I'm not worried. I've got my Wii sitting right here! Ahh, time for some Zelda, I think! ;)

I got one on Black Friday, stood out front of ToysRUs around 4 am, it opened at 5. One of the employees came out before the doors opened and asked if anyone wanted Wii's and took our names and then gave us tickets, but they bundled them with 3 games and a protection plan. My brother and I ended up each getting one, and were able to score extra remotes over the last couple days at EB then Walmart but no extra nunchuk's, but MonkeyBall, Madden, Wiisports, and Zelda have all been worth the wait and the protection plan!

I got the console, Twlight Princess, Rayman Raving Rabbids, Red Steel, Excite Truck, Extra Controller + Nunchuck, Classic Controller, Wii points card, and SD Card 512, plus extra batteries. I saved up all summer for this one day.

I still can't find one anywhere. I haven't even so much as stood in line for one because there are none! Anywhere! Argh!

But, I can live. Even if I have to wait until the beginning of the new year to get one, I'll be OK.

I got a Wiimote and Zelda on launch day, and I got put on the list for a rain check at Toys R Us. I went in on Saturday after Black Friday to pick it up, and they still didn't have any nunchucks. I've had enough fun with Wii Sports to not even crack open Zelda.

I managed to snag one on Friday after I got home from school... (luckily it was a half-day)

I called up FutureShop and they said they had a couple left, so I got over there as fast as I could and as luck would have it, there were 5 Wiis left. And I had gotten Zelda the day before...

But lemme tell you, the week after launch I spent Wii-less was torture. I know 3 people who got one on launch, and so... it was like... they had been chosen over me... xP

like a total sucker, i got up in time for the 5am opening of bestbuy on friday morning
but they weren't going to have wii until sunday.
missed out on that line today too.

my friend, however, bought a bundle online and we've been playing at his place ever since. each of our mii bear an eerie resemblance. totally fun.

friday night, an overzealous wiibaseball pitcher broke the wiimote strap-- thank god it didnt hit the new tv.
is there some official count of broken wrist straps?

I got one on black friday got up at 4:30 stood on line for 15 mins in front of the mall (opened at 5) stood in front of ebgames for 2 mins they had four and me and my friend were the 3rd and 4th people in line... victory is sweet but i still cant get my hands on a nunchuck.

W00t! I got mine on BLack Friday. I got to EB Games at 3:50 am, which got me the #8 spot in line! When they opened at 7am, they informed us they only had 8 consoles! :D I almost didn't get one when some guy tried saying he got there at midnight, then waited at home till 6:45, to try and get in at #5, but we all got on his case, so I still got mine! yeay!

I can see how the straps could break with the force I pitch and hit in Wii Baseball, but fortunately for me, I use an overly strong grip on the wiimote. Never put all your trust in the strap.

Let's see...I have been one place out in line 4 times now.

Went to my local Super Target on the 19th only to be 40 in line with 39 Wii's for sale. So I bought 2 Remotes, Twilight Princess, Raving Rabbids and Excite Truck (and the $20 Wii Gift Card).

Then went to Fry's...saw a lady buying the last one at the register when I came in...waited for a few minutes because she was having card issues, but she went out to her car and got another card and left with the Wii. Bought 1 more remote and Trauma Center.

Then went to Sears...was 5th in line for 2 consoles. Looked at vacuum cleaners and left empty handed.

Then went into my local GameStop, and the Manager advised that 2 people had not picked up their pre-orders...;and he would give me a call if they did not pick them up. Of course they did, so still empty handed. He did let me know about the Black Friday shipment, though.

Checked around a couple of stores and nobody had any consoles.

Got up very early on Friday to go to the GameStop closest to my house...there was a line out the door at that one. When to the next closest one...same thing. Then went to the next one...the line was not very long, but I was #8 in line for 6 consoles. So I bought 2 nunchucks.

SO...I still do not have a console, but I am completely stocked up on everything else...just waiting for when I get the console.

I also have component cabels and a Nunchuck on order from Nintendo.

Someday my prince will come...I just hope it is before x-mas.

Best Buy here had 30 for Sunday's opening. I got in line at 8:52am, and was number 30 inside 8 minutes. You don't necessarily have to get in line 3-30 hours beforehand.

I'm beginning to think there is a vast conspiracy afoot to deny me my not Wii love action. Launch day I was #70 in line at Target for 69 consoles. Then my husband called Target and was told they'd have another shipment for Black Friday, natch. He left the house at 2am for Target's 6am opening. First one there.

Store opened at 6am and he was told "What? Wiis? Hah! No, we didn't get any." By then of course, every other store in town had a line a mile long in front of it. So, he's begun a daily routine of calling stores to check on shipments. Best Buy swore they weren't getting any this week. Yesterday we stopped in there to pick up a couple movies, and overheard the sales associate talking about how people camped out again for that morning's shipment!

Come on people, I'm a cute gamer chick. I'll play in my underwear, just gimmie one!!!

I am still trying desperately in vain to get a Wii. After a fairly disheartening Black Friday camping experience (I was 9th in line, the store only had 8), I've stumbled upon a hot tip that the Best Buy by my will be getting some Wiis in tonight to sell tomorrow.

Hopefully i can get a hold of one before Christmas.

I mean i only had to wat 2 and a half hours, thats not bad. everyone else ive talked to and heard from.waited a lot longer and most of them didnt even get wiis, maybe i just got lucky. the store did have 110 though.
