Honestly who cares if a game is on 3 friggin discs? Get off your ass and change discs. No one complained when Final Fantasy 7 came out with 3 discs. Or when Metal Gear Solid came out on 2 discs, or when Resident Evil 4 was on 2 discs? I say that it's ridiculous to say "360 sucks because your gonna need to actually get up and change a disc which takes about 5 seconds to do." I say changing a disc is better then owning a Brickstation 3 *As Bill Gates hilariously dubbed the system) with no good games coming out till maybe next fall.

p.s. I used the controller at Target and I think it's trash.

Joystiq, why don't you bloggers go back to taking turns pulling articles out of a hat from http://www.news4gamers.com/ to copy/post, rather than trying to find unique things from forums that are WRONG.

Ok... I can forgive posting a story quickly without proper confirmation, just like various RUMOR posts. But why was this one not labeled as a RUMOR when it clearly had no confirmation?

I know this is a news blog where you have to post news quickly, but that also means you can delete crap posts like this one. So why not just delete this poor excuse of a newspost?

Well theres a lot of bashing there..!

Not going to even go there.

Well if there is un-used space for the PS3 then I think that the developers and Sony can use it in years to come, to grow into. We can already see that it's becoming a competitive market and yes - there'l be a day when games do need to tap extra space / memory. At the moment we can't see that. Games are going to develop the same way thay have done in the past and some key elements are what are being targeted here. This is so that a game console can stay active rather than have a new xboX399 every two years to keep up with the jones's...

Okay,it's new,it's trendy,it's MS / Sony whoo hooo - I'll buy one cos they say so...Duhh. I think that Sony is looking for the long run here - how many years was it before they brought out PS3? Okay I think they have tripped over there own egos here a bit.

I know I'll be buying a PS3, I have had my PS2 for nearly four years now and its not let me down, I have had years and months of fun that's still going. Now I know the graphics are not the best, but for then - they where acceptable. This time around I'll be getting a better package with more room for growth - things can only get better...

Game developers once said that certain games could,nt be done on the PS2, then they found ways to do it..!Now we got a new system with so much potential - only if they tap it, the thing is.. the TAP, is more like Dam gate...!

So let the fload of sensory exposure comence...

Enjoyz - :)

Going into the launch of the system I didn't have any expectations for them to use up entire Blu-Ray storage space. It's highly unlikely that its even possible in 6 or 7 months (which is how long the game developers had the development kits for prior to the launch... which means that they had even one less month than that because they had to produce their product for mass production). If anything, blame the game developer. Sony was most likely just quoting the game manufacturer. Sony was probably too busy with the more important task of preparing for the system launch itself.

In order to truly find out the potential of Blu-Ray, wait until Lair, Assassin's Creed, Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Gran Turismo HD, and Metal Gear Solid 4 are released. Having over a year to develop those titles properly will make a huge difference.

As for Resistence: Fall Of Man, I agree that as a stand alone title it is not very good. But, the online play has some really neat new team strategy styles that help it. Also, if a mouse and keyboard could be developed for use with FPS's it would make a difference too.

So, all of those may-sayers out there need to give the system some time to break a sweat. AND, it was never Sony's fault that the system was delayed. The Blu-Ray diode manufacturer produced 8 months of bad product. When Sony received there shipment of that crucial component, it had no choice but to wait until the idiots could make more to replace them.

There's my two cents... and here's two more apparently (it seems I wasn't finished thinking out loud). And although I may be a fan of the Playstation franchise, I am also a reasonably logical individual. I'll be the first to offer up my conceit if Blu-Ray drops off of the map. But, Blu-Ray does have potential. And it's something that needs to be considered a long-term investment. Most modern movies aren't even filmed in Hi-Def. But, with projects like Superman Returns being filmed completed in digital HD, the quality should come through with an incredible ray of hope. As Hollywood sees HD-DVD & Blu-Ray beginning to saturate the market, they'll start upping the ante themselves. They are making money as is and won't change their ways until they see we are seeking the next level of entertainment. We, the consumer, are solely responsible to make it happen though. Would you invest a hundred thousand dollars into your house if you were content with living in it the way it is? No. However, you would consider it if you planned to to sell it for a signifigant profit!

Wow... I think I need to sleep now... my bwain hurts.

Resistance has been in developement for 2 years just like
gears they developed on PC and then Not-final-dev-kits
until the FINAL kits came in.

B_GLASS why do they need confirming information from ANOTHER source?
Since WHEN has any other site had to do this? Last time I checked people used to dog Joystick for waiting and it would be old news!
So now they post early. It's not news if it's already confirmed publicly! How do you now know if they did not also confirm it themselfs? Your defending a chronic liar, you can't be that
gullible? Can you?
Hey Slickhead! I don't know whats funnier, your post or your nick name! LOL That was a good post.

RogueStorm Over a million sold to only 7 million people! I played WITH my buddy from the other side of Indianapolis, on CO-OP!
I'm not downing HALO 3 but I'm just saying after playing only a few levels of this game, Halo 3 better bring it!

Let this be a lesson to the fanboys at Joystiq that you should confirm your sources before posting bullshit like this. It's amazing how attacking Sony is taking priority over accurate journalism.

2gb? 4gb? 8gb? who really cares, does that make the game better?

209. Joystiq's great, just because it's news you don't like, doesn't mean it isn't news... and they're bound to make mistakes...

PS3 is another failure not due to it size. I better keep my mouth shut because my informations alone is priceless that no Sony shall know the main core of it [smudges].

Overall I am smiling again.

PS: dont bother making PS4, I'd rather have Sega back.
