I have to stand up for Barnyard. When my daughter was in the hospital this summer(she's fine now) she asked for Barnyard so I picked it up for the gamecube. It is actually a great game for the kiddies-- free-roaming, with missions and minigames-- I was shocked at how good it was, actually. The only downside was the load times-- it was like a PSP. The kids didn't mind, though.

The new white system is just the Wii. You're not supposed to include the company with the name any time you wouldn't refer to the PS2 as "Sony PlayStation 2".

and yeah, Sam Fisher is rated E for Wii? clearly a misprint, but it's kinda funny trying to imagine a rated E splinter cell

Just because a game is rated E, it doesn't mean it can't be good.

Apparently, pluralising animals with z instead of s is popular for the DS this week.

Silly RHP... PS3 doesn't play games... oh wait... it does?!? ... I thought it was only for Blu-Ray and microtransactions, and superior technology..

Another shitty week, all around. This is Novemeber - where's the flood of killer apps for all the systems?

Dammit Nintendo!! I haven't bought a DS game since Metroid Prime Hunters (which was the day the DS lites were released in the US) and I honestly see only one game coming down the road that I want (yet another Castlevania).

Enough with the damn kiddy games already!! They're usually in the bargain bin within a month.

That SC:DA boxart for the Wii is messed up - it's actually rated M. Now, the question is whether it's closer to the 360 or the Xbox version of the game...

@18

I believe it's been stated that the Wii version is essentially the current gen version (Xbox, PS2, Cube) with new controls tacked on. Whether or not that's a good thing remains to be seen.

Wow... the Wii gets Splinter Cell: Double Agent, and PC users without a Shader Model 3.0 card (X800 and below) are left in the dust?!

@18 How could it be even close to the 360 version? The Wii barely has more power than a Xbox, and no where NEAR the 360 or PS3, not to mention a 480 max output. Seriously, there is not even a point in asking questions like that. The answer is always going to be the same. The Wii is what it is. Whether that is good or bad depends on your opinion. What it is not, however, is a next gen system, at least not in terms of power. That said, didn't World Championship poker for the 360 come out like 2 weeks ago?

Bleh. Call it simply "Wii", not "Nintendo Wii".
