I played this game all weekend. Both on XBL and a few local multiplayer games with my friends. It is awesome and there were some really intense matches. There are however some realy cheap characters. Unit 51 is extremely cheap as is the Robot with the heat seekin missle. Also on maps where it is easy to fall off the level, I think the chicken is pretty cheap too. Either way it is an awesome game

I had a friend over for the weekend and my boyfriend and I played local multiplayer with her for hours on end. It was really fun and addictive and we easily put in 8-10 hours over the course of three days..
honestly tho, I wish the controls were a little tighter and I personally hate the moving levels. We had to ban my boyfriend from using Mr. Truffles because he would ALWAYS win!!

It's so bloody hard - can't finish a single player ladder yet, keep getting mauled by the logg guy :(

It's also fuzzy, and has a little too much 'falling off' for my liking.

Not as impressed as i was hoping to be. Yet to get into the mp aspect as much though.

I seriously can't get enough of this game.
At first, it seems as if there is no skill involved, thus why many people use Unit 51, but after a while, you really look into the game and develop strong strategies for beating certain opponents. Certain guns can render other types of guns useless and sometimes getting the higher ground level opposing your opponent is necessary. Thanks to all my strategy planning in the game, I have 92 wins opposed to 59 losses.

I've enjoyed this game thus far. At first, I was expecting a little SSBM replicator, but it's not like that at all. Once adjusted to the controls, it becomes a boatload of fun. So far, the only cheap weapon I have come across is the homing robot missile. That thing is far to easy to use. Just jump high in the air and shoot. I put in a good 8 hours of gameplay over the thanksgiving break. It's a good game for quick and easy fun. Especially, before or after some regular 360 titles.

I downloaded the demo and was very dissapointed. The controls are like Gemoetry wars, where the right trigger is to aim/shoot. I feel the game is very limiting. And health replenshing drops every few seconds it seems.
The jumping is very awkward and the stuff to do is little.

I did not purchase it. I would rather be playing gears of war. I guess ill check out SSBB when it comes out for the wii since my brother has a wii. I loved the first n64 smash bros and somewhat liked the gamecube one. I was hoping for this game to be similar :(

I played the trial game. Graphics were nice but the gameplay wasn't anything special or anything. Maybe I'll play it later and try again...

I played it this weekend and was seriously upset that the last couple of stages were so hard. I had was complaining like a little kid not getting his way.

Moments later, my girlfriend (a casual gamer at BEST) picks up the controller and rips right through the whole game...with three different characters.

Shut me up pretty quick.
