i have the gameinformer issue and it is a very long article, too lazy to go back and read it again most of the upgrades are things that just make graw better not a new game. things like the environment looking more war like even though the graphics were great last time it didnt look alot like there was a war going on. now things are more like call of duty 3 where everything is always crumbling and awsome smoke effects where a helicopter can blow it away and the wind too. also now you can switch your entire screen to another teamate and your screen becomes the picture in picture, and from there you can sned them places otherwise impossible to send them from the map, you can do this with the UAV also. and there is a car now that can be controlled like the UAV through a camera it can be used to find enemies on ground, protection like a tank and it is stocked with ammo! multiplayer is still under wraps, hopefully more new coming soon.

A gun instead of just crosshairs would be nice to start with...

A cover system similar to RB6:V. Better squad control and better online lobby play. A ranking system like RB6:V would also be very awesome. After playing RB6:V I don't think I could go back to GRAW unless these features were added.

Oooh, I've been hoping for these... thanks Ken. Is it still planned for Q1-07?

My only expectations for this game: better than GRAW and able to spin in my X360 for thousands of hours.

(off topic, but just wanted to share: I got my DolbyDigital 5.1 system last night, and GRAW sounds amazing)

More stable multiplayer. And have the gameplay mechanics the same in single player and multiplayer, a la Gears.

I played RB6: Vegas before I played GRAW, completely agree that the cover system in RB6 is light years ahead of GRAW. RB6 is incredibly intuitive, dare I say, better than Gears.

To realy make GRAW the best, place it in a City, use the RB6 cover system, but add some Gears features, namely cover switch (when two different cover items are close, you spin and take cover quickly across the vulnerable area in between).

Play Gears and then RB6 and you can begin to visualize the ultimate stop and pop system.

Hopefully much better online play, a lot less boring and difficult campaign mode, no more crappy dark levels and no save game corruption.

I played it and didn't like it.
It was probably the only really good game that I thought was crap. (Also Lumines on PSP - highest rated game on PSP - it's CRAP!)

Hopefully things will have improved this time around. I'll probably keep this game for longer than a few weeks...

I agree with Snap, I want more control over my squad, I should be able to tell them to advance and have them find cover. Drastically better friendly AI is needed.

And like SparkStalker said, the off and online gameplay need to be the same.

If these two things are not fixed I won't even rent it.

Take the squad control away from the d-pad! The 360 d-pad sucks, and I find myself constantly giving orders to the squad when I wanted to give it to the Bradley.

An explicit cover system like Vegas or GOW will also work better. It's kinda hit-and-miss right now with the context-sensitive movement.

Better multiplayer matchmaking.

I got the mag a couple of weeks ago and I wasn't impressed with the screenshots. I played GRAW for a few months but then it's easily forgettable. I don't think I'll be picking this one up.

Similar on- and offline play, more background 'noise' (like CoD3), civilians and vehicles, a 'stickier' and more fluid cover system, and perhaps a graphics tune-up would all be welcomed.

@jc: 5.1 was the best thing I've ever purchased. Playing Call of Duty 3 at night with the volume cranked up was immense. You really need surround sound to have that 'in the middle of the action' feeling, as you're constantly aware of gunshots, debris falling etc. coming at you from an almost 360 angle.

I wonder what the game will be priced at. Will it be $60 plus $15 for the downloadable content, or will they just b!tch-slap us at $75 from the get-ho?

I'm hoping for better multiplayer experience and a more stable (ie, less demanding) netcode.

eliminate the ability to select who is on your team in ranked matches.

Just give my squadmates some better AI. Holy crap were they dumb. I prefered the solo missions to the missions with the squad. They just kept running into fire without me telling them to go anywhere. Grrr... With GoW setting the bar online coop through the story mode would be nice.

My main issue, have single player and multiplayer run off the same engine. I don't want to get into multiplayer and find it doesn't play as well as single player (which is how I felt in GRAW). More intuitive cover would be the secondary issue for me.

Yard brings up a good point of co-op through the whole story mode. What would be even better playing co-op with a whole squad, not just two.
