PS3 leaps from v1.10 to 1.11
PlayStation 3 owners were greeted by firmware update v1.11 this morning. Aside from customary security tweaks, the mandatory download installs the new 'Account management' network feature, allowing users to add money to their virtual wallets without accessing the store. That's it? That's it, officially.

You read of one persons ancedotal account of someone having a lock up issue when trying to update his music settings on teh PS3. The author believes it is related to the v1.11 update but by his own admission can not be certain if it was as a result of the patch or not. Your statement would lead people who do not read the actual article you are linking to to believe that the patch definetively stops the functioning of all PS3's that download the update.

Where's the system update that will bypass the 'Reserve Not Met, item relisted' message I keep getting?

Joystiq, you seemed to miss the other feature. Your now able to go to a user name or file on your options bar and press triangle to get options on it. From options you have a few additional things you can do with the file or user.
