100,000+ points and no life.

That’s roughly 10,000 points a month since launch.

I finding it surprising how may hours I spend on the 360 and I only have 8000+ points.

"Wow, look at everyone on the source link calling him a cheater/loser."

That's because he's admitted to cheating, and anyone who spends so much time. effort and money on something so irrelevant would qualify as a "loser."

Besides the fact that he has Quake 4, Eragon and Enchanted Arms listed twice, tons of those games aren't out in America. Nevertheless, 100,000 isn't impossible. I have 15,000 and I really haven't played that much since August. Get a Gamefly account, and beat all those easy sport games on a daily basis. I personally haven't played that many sport games, but if I wanted to I could rack up another 10,000 points in a week.

It looks like he has at least a couple of games from different territories. He played both 【eM】 -eNCHANT arM-, and Enchanted Arms. It does look like he went further in the english than in the Japanese though. I guess if you're that obsessed with how artificially inflated your gamer score can be, more power to you. Personally I am quite proud of my modest 1495 gamerscore. I think that it's more about what I play and what I don't. Anybody that chacks my gamerscore, would quickly be able to tell that I don't play sports games. I think that is more important than somebody being artificial and plyaing games that he doesn't even care about just to have a higher score. I think he probably is just an attention whore.

The top gamer scores unfortunately don't mean much thanks to the proliferation of game save abuse.

Great example: 1,000 points in FIFA 07... within about two days. Released on 10/31 and last played on 11/02. The achievements on this game are ridiculous.

I'll be impressed when someone finally nails the last Smash TV achievement (still nobody with 200 points as of today).

Xavier - that signifies the current/last game he was playing. The icons at the bottom of the card represent the last five games played. It's all part of the community aspect of XBox Live. And a secretive Big Brother tactic.

I made that last part up.

Sadly, in the forums on Mygamercard.net are saying he wil be a legend for being the first to break 100k. Personally, I don't think most gamers will remember his name in a week, except maybe those so obsessed with a gamerscore to resort to cheating to increase it. At the original site for the article, someone asked how is it cheating if he doesn't win anything. I guess if you call stupid attention winning, I guess he did win something. Personally, who cares? I guess maybe Microsoft was hoping that this would cause people to buy games they wouldn't normally buy just to increase their sales, I hope not though. It's possible this is why 360 has such a high attach rate. Hopefully this obsession will die away eventually.

Don't you think it's ironic you telling him to get some pussy while it is you who must be without. Too much pressure on your balls, so you can't even type properly anymore.
And after all don't you think someone with the great alias "StribClubDj" gets pussy all the time? (sarcasm, remark for the slow ones.)

It's all rather pointless if you cheat.. why do so many people not get that. "Yes, I'm better than you... erm except that I'm not really, but I know how to make myself look better..."... yes, says it all really.

Of course if he didn't cheat: kudos for the effort involved.

I think this is pretty impressive achievement. My gamerscore is a lowly 1995 points after owning the console since January.

Not to start bashing him, but I have friends who have easily gotten all of the gamerscore points in a game by downloading gamesaves, transferring them to a memory card, and then, upon loading the game save, unlocking all of the achievements just by loading the save. I've seen it done, and really, all you have to do is have a memory card and a $15 adapter (unless you DIY).

Congrats!

What a jackass, as for the graywolf we were buddies for a while before he mysterously took me off his friends list, probly because he was ashamed because he gave up after trying for a year to be number 1. O and a little secerat bout strip club d.j he games saves his achivments. I found this out from my good friend Kaens. So uhh he really shouldnt be this famous. Unless you like cheaters. All i know is that Rance6 was for real ST Theking was for real and the gray wolf was for real. I dont know bout southsidepimp though. Peace

Xavier (#10): As Joe Smith (#15) correctly suggested, those GamerCards come from MyGamerCard.net -- We show additional information such as the user's country and current activity (they have to set up an account and specifically switch these items on in their GamerCard)

Everyone curious about games being listed multiple times - These are games released in different countries (usually US/JP (e.g. Enchant(ed) Arms), or Germany/Rest of the world (e.g. Saint's Row, Quake 4 -- German law bans gore from video games if I'm not mistaken)

I believe he owns a US, European, and Japanese console, and imports games much like last month's "GamerScore Sensation", Rance6.

Cronos (#22) -- I'm sure some of those people truly believe that he will be a 'legend', but they are correct in thinking that people will know the name beyond next week. I mean, if you have been in the community for any length of time, you should know about ST TheKing... It just depends on your involvement in the Community, not necessarily how die-hard you are about GamerScore.

All in all, I'm left scratching my head on what made him go through all that, myself. Sure it's fun for a little bit, but I am willing to bet he's getting a ton more negative attention than positive (or neutral)... wouldn't be worth it for me. (Of course, I spend most of my free time working on MGC, so I only have about 5700 GamerScore.)

Er, Rance6 wasn't legit btw, Perksizer. :)
Moreso than the person in question now, of course, but he's admitted his 'saving'.

Besides, most of this gamesave talk is soon to be moot anyway. The recent Fall Dashboard update has made most of those processes useless. I'm aware some do still exist, but it's nowhere near as rampant as it has been for the psat few months.

Uh, morgon, your reply to my previous comment is kind of moot due to the fact that you work for a website that promotes this obssesion with gamerscores. I picked up my 360 on launch day, so I have been a part of the 360 community since then, and your post was the first time I heard the name ST The King. Seriously, you sound like you care about your score and wish it was bigger. I'm sorry, but it's like owning the biggest car/SUV when a simple car would do, just so that people think something about you that isn't true. It's like people that own gas gussling huge SUVs and live on Food Stamps. Any gamer score that inflated is ridiculous, and idiotic, and if you will remember his name past tomorrow, well, that's sad. True legends are people like Martin Luther King JR. who changed the world, not someone who was so obsessed with some artificial number that he cheated his way to a dumb statis.

Also, your most recent news post shows that you are more than a little interested in gamerscore with the title Two B-B-B-Billion GamerScore! (No, I Didn't Stutter!). Whoop-ti-do.

Funny how every time someone makes an "accomplishment" in gaming, all the same nerds that would love to reach that goal come out of the woodwork making sure to let the world know that he/she is a huge loser for doing so.

I realize it is true that many of you are not willing to put in the hours to get this done. This may be because you choose to devote your hours to something else. This may be because you do not have the ability to do so. Given the type of person it likely takes to get their rocks off by making sure to make fun of everyone they can via blog entries, I'm almost positive the details of their life aren't much more enthralling than that of this guy. Unfortunately, he has reached a nerdly achievement that draws attention and is therefore "worthy" of such ridicule. As many of you I am sure can only hope to reach.

And no, I don't exclude myself from this either. But who can stand a bunch of raving hypocrites?
