It seems bragging about their 75% market share wasn't enough ... now Nintendo is dragging the PSP through a little British mud all over again. Nintendo is pointing to independant data as proof of their success -- the gaming giant has sold more than two million DS units in the UK, which means they're outselling Sony's PSP at a rate of more than 2.5 to 1. Ouch. The monumental success of the DS has Lisa Morgan all atwitter. The CEO of high street retailer GAME says Nintendo has become an "increasingly important" part of their business in the United Kingdom -- and this with the Wii release still more than a week away in Europe. Nintendo's efforts to expand the gaming market seem to be working, and they're not above crowing over the success. We're big fans of the DS around here. You might have noticed the name, the whole DS Fanboy thing we have going on. But damn, Ninty. Sometimes it's better just to be the bigger guy and not talk about it. We're starting to feel a little bad for the PSP guys. There, there, little fanboys. At least you still have Dave Mirra! Oh, wait ....
We kid. Chins up, guys! Keep fighting the good fight so we all have something to argue over for hours and hours.
