Yahoo News! has an article written for the masses surveying the newest consoles from Microsoft, Nintendo, and Sony. You know, the ones we all love. Despite messing up (or misleading) certain facts suggesting the existence of a current basketball game for Wii (how would that work?) and a lack of online support for the PS3, the article emphasis a well-known but notable holiday shopping point: Every time a prospective console shopper can't find a Wii or PS3, a Microsoft employee gets his wings. That is, the chances of selling an Xbox 360 goes up quick like."The mere fact that moms and dads can find Microsoft's console, when Wiis and PlayStations are nowhere in sight, could give Microsoft an edge when the numbers are tallied in 2007," says the report. Should be interesting to see how much that certainty helps Msoft reach their target of selling 10 million 360s by year's end. But the article more importantly continues on gaming's allure: "No matter which console wins, one thing is certain. From Toys 'R Us to Best Buy to Amazon.com, gamers have swarmed the stores this season. And, if predictions hold, there's no shortage of customers in the hive."
