I can't be the only person who pictures a bunch of 12 year olds with pictures of their ass as their face running around, am I?

Am I the only one who can never see other people's face mapping? I have several friends who have used it, but all I see are the standard models that come with the game.

believe me i've tried the butt face thing. can't really get it to work. i'm pretty sure the software attempts to locate eyes, mouth, basic face objects in order to make a map of the face. now maybe if you draw 2 black dots for eyes on your butt it would work? fun times!

I've found that it takes a while to load up my friend's scanned face when playing coop. We can see our own scanned faces when the game first loads, but for some reason it takes about 5 minutes before we see each other's scanned face. A problem I have with the facemapping is that it usually tries to give me a semi-bald head. I noticed the woman in the video had a similar issue. Can the program not recognize black hair??? My RB6 character looks like a prime candidate for Rogaine.

IGN had video of face mapping in their video review of the game a few weeks ago. Cool stuff.

Got my copy of vegas today and tried it out. It didnt come out perfectly as I was still half asleep and the camera was at an odd angle but it still looks pretty darn good. Pic - http://img152.imageshack.us/img152/5895/facemappingaq5.jpg

I tried to make one with my Nightmare Armor Master Chief Helmet - It wouldn't accept it after trying to render it :(

I used a dry erase marker and put my 'prefix' (clan tag) on my foreheaad along with a creepy curly moustache. Came through without any problems. I've atempted to draw a face on paper and use that, but couldn't get it to work yet.

The way her face looks when she's actually in-game is really creepy, IMHO. Maybe that's a good battlefield strategy, eh?

It kind of reminds me of the two-headed babies in Silent Hill 4.

Does anyone remember how Perfect Dark (the N64 one, not the more recent 360 title) was originally slated to have this feature? It used the (overwhelmingly craptacular) Gameboy Camera to make your face appear in the game.

If memory serves, it was canned because of Columbine or something.

Man, it took a long time for the feature to reappear, eh?

She looked like a god awful tongue creature, with a bad case of the red eye... While (thankfully) it seems that she was distroyed before being allowed to breed, conspearcy theory, sugjests her spawn will show themselfs soon enough...
