China holds audition for its own Lara Croft

With Tomb Raider: Legend on the verge of release in China, SINA, a big-time online Chinese media corporation, set out to find the nation's 'Lara Croft.' It appears that nine would-be adventurers were singled out for the awkwardly titled "Play Girl" contest.The winners received a cash prize and will be featured in a "live action" photo bundled with the game.

I mean this in no racially charged manner, but... why bother? I've never seen a Chinese girl with large enough breasts to "fill out" the part of Lara. Not real breasts anyway... so why bother?
I also had to laugh because I thought they were all the same girl at first. Then I started noticing subtle differences and then it hit me... I'm such a bastard.

The photo shoot is only bundled in the special edition of the game. Ironically, the winner gets a copy of Legends, but only the basic version without the photo...

hmmm, the Chinese girl pictured on this page seems too cute to be a Chinese girl. I'd swear she'd was a white girl who undergone plastic surgery. Or as #5 put it, "Chin-Amer girl". I'll have to wait to get home to see the other ladies. My company filtered out and blocked that link.

what a bunch of tools. how about getting a passport and actually taking the time to see the world before making ignorant comments like these. trying to fit all chinese women into the mold constructed from the limited exposure here in the west is akin to them thinking all white women are like the ones they see in hk, beijing, or shanghai (trust me, some of the trolls over there set a very bad example). hell, when was the last time anyone here ever saw a girl walking down the street here in the USA that even looked like Angelina Jolie from head to toe?
then again, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. chubby chicks must get some play out there, but they don't do jack for me.
