The Wall Street Journal reports on Microsoft's expected revenue growth of 13-15% with the upcoming release of their Vista operating system (it's sorta like OS X but not really). At a Nasdaq conference in London, CFO Christopher Liddell also echoed the company's hopes of selling 10 million Xbox 360s by year's end in addition to overall financial expectations. From the article: "Mr. Liddell reiterated comments made by Chief Executive Steve Ballmer in October [and himself], saying that he expects to see strong sales world-wide of Microsoft's XBox Live games consoles this Christmas. 'Revenue growth will continue to be a strong focus for us ... We also believe we can sell 10 million XBox Live units by the end of the Christmas season.'" Keep hope alive.
