The worst thing you can do for gaming is to vote for one of these two for any office.

Well, since this post has turned into a bunch of political poo, I might as well add my $0.02

I have nothing against a woman as president of the US, but I have a LOT against ms. clinton as president. The woman is pure evil. Just like how Sen. Lieberman channels Emporer Palpitine's dark energy, there is something very sinister behind the scenes with hillary too. I'm just not quite sure which particular devil she ****ed in exchange for her current power.

I'm just ecstatic that most of you fit in the talk-big-but-don't-actually-do-anything-productive demographic. I think these political posts on joystiq are beyond counterproductive. They get a bunch on young men with no real world experience and who think capitalism=selling PS3s on eBay mouthing off about the impending gaming doom should Hillary Clinton be elected.

I mean really. What reasonable person actually thinks one politician could take away your precious? These posts are just so stupid.

Unfortunately parents do not listen to their children. I told my parents back in 2000 that that crazy Bush guy hates free speech and they still voted for the worthless bastard.

@Brayn

That's the beauty of America, freedom of expression. Just because my opinion is not shared with other people does not mean I am wrong, it means that I am different! I can hold this belief all I want. Oh, and by the way, I'm 17, I work an $8 an hour job, there's not really much places I can go. Durka durka.

We have freedom to express ALL opinions, not just popular ones! The 'like it or leave it' kind of attitude is like saying, "Yeah, and everyone who is black needs to step out of the room now, because you won't like this." Just because it's not shared with every single person doesn't mean it's wrong or selfish to have a belief, it means they're different.

And I damn well intend on changing things with my belief, while I do not believe in either the Republican or Democrat way of government that either are instilling upon us, I try and vote that will make our country a better place. Last time I checked, Democrats are weighing in their yes vote for Net Neutrality, the same thing that keeps all websites safe from e-extortion from ISPs.

"First let me say to some *cough* Ignatius *cough*, if you don't like what Bush is doing with America then by all means feel free to leave. I won't try to stop you."
- hegemonyhog

No, dude, how about YOU leave, and take Bush with you, he's bringing down what America is, and can be. He's the worst president ever. He has done NOTHING good. Give us a link to something TANGIBLE and MEASURABLE that he has done that is good. "Spreading Freedom" or "Mission Accomplished" officially counts as BS, so no links to anything about that allowed.

Personally, I never subscribe to the 'If you don't like it, leave' mentality towards blogs, stores, or America that so many morons on the internet have. If something has more potential, or isn't living up to it's potential, I have no problem hoping it changes. Only an idiot would act like everything is A-OK and can't get better.

It's OK to expect more if the potential is there.
