I haven't played much GOW since the whirlwind 3-4 days I got it but I did hit GRAW 4 days in a row this past week...forgot how addicting the online play for that is (besides waiting in lobbies)

I'm honestly disappointed Viva Pinata hasn't been on this list at all since it came out. The game is a lot of fun and it's really one of the best Rare titles in quite some time.

Maybe after Christmas? I suppose there is some chance that copies of it are sitting under trees

Correct me if I am wrong here but being on this lists requires a) an online component or b) downloading a demo, add-on or other piece. Don't get me wrong, I am playing the absolute crap out of Viva but as far as the online, I am am not buying my pinatas a hat, and I emailed one person on my friends list a pinata and never heard back from them.

I am sure if the list was Top-10 most played games on Xbox 360 Viva would be up there. But I think most people are playing this one on the down low as a guilty pleasure. When and if Rare releases the add-on to travel to other gardens I am sure that will change.

The lists are based upon global users connected to Xbox Live... which I've always kind of read as "If you're logged in, we tally it". Which explains some other random single player inclusions from time to time.

Here's a bold prediction: Viva will hit the top 10 on Dec 25th or 26th.

Why?

Because as one of the few kid targeted games, many folks have wrapped them up and put them under the tree. I'm responsible for 2 copies going out that way.

Fear not. The Pinatas will hit Live in a couple of weeks.

I myself found myself going back and playing GRAW, to me that i's probably one of the best multiplayer games out there.

If you play with any of your friends then you would know how great it is...but nothing can talk away the fact that you play almost half the game sitting in the lobby. (the game is also notrious to talking shi^)

I now feel the urge and go settle with my pinatas!

GoW was more of a dud for my friend and me. No, not saying it wasn't a good game, but rather it was far from what we were looking for: multiplayer Live private Co-Op that will support groups with more than two in it.
