Reuters reports on the current shortage of young British soccer talent with national managers partially blaming video games as the catalyst. An influx of foreign players and lack of coaching were also attributed to the diminishing number of players in the land where the sport was invented. Said one British soccer official: "When we all grew up, we didn't have PlayStation, or PS2 or 24-hour TV ... so we played football (soccer). If my son played football (soccer) as much as he does with his PlayStation, he'd be a better player, it's a fact of life."If it's in the game, it's in the game.
