Today's coldest game video: WoW AV snowball

Tis the season for snowball fights in Alterac Valley! There's nothing like pelting a passing dwarf with a chunk of tightly packed snow, is there? In fact, we're surprised no one has released a snowball fight game for one of the consoles. We'll continue to hope and dream for that one day, but in the meantime this World of Warcraft video will tide us over.

This drives me nuts. On the horde side, people assume we are going to lose (which usually happens) and they don't even try to fight. They just pelt their teammates with snowballs off the side of the cliff. I would never cuss someone out because they did it, like a lot of people, but if they do it repeatedly to the point where it makes it that much harder to even try to put up a fight they should ease off the snowballs a bit.

You could throw snowballs in Bully. That was pretty funny. And there was the snowball fights in the Ski or Die game.

They introduced snowball fights into Guild Wars like last year for the holidays. It was an absolute blast. They had a bunch of different snowballs with different effects like "Snowball with rocks", "Yellow Snowball", etc. The coolest thing was that if you won you got presents with special pieces of raw material (i.e. Candy Cane Shards) that could be crafted into a sweet holiday weapon (i.e. Candy Cane Sword/Bow). Not sure if they're doing the snowball fights this year as I haven't played in a while.

As an undead rogue, I just sit in stealth on the bridge until some unsuspecting alliance decides to ride by, or fight on the bridge. I almost feel bad getting HKs like that... almost.

There was a great Flash game in 1998 called Snowcraft, very simple and the 'death' animations are solid. Get those kids.

I just read "AV Snowball" and really thought it was about "Adult Video Snowball".
