will the patch make COD3 feel less like Battlefield and more like COD2?

i've been asking people online in COD3 and they all said is feels more like Battlefield. if that is your thing, get the game, the single player game is still good.

Yknow, 800 Points for 5 maps (plus a free one) isn't a bad price.

800 Points in real money is about 1/3rd the cost of a full PC expansion, and you're getting about 1/3rd the content of a full PC shooter expansion.

If only the game didn't suck.

How about us Wii owners. I have no problem accepting a new CD from them with multiplayer code added and mapps, all for 800 points.... :/ Sheesh, Get it together Nintendo and get multplayer happening! And please, add in the infrastructure for patching games. 2-4GB SD cards would be fine for code patches!

"Yknow, 800 Points for 5 maps (plus a free one) isn't a bad price."
I disagree. It should be 400pts or free. Most of the maps in the COD2 map packs weren't new designs. They were just lifted off the singleplayer. At least one was taken from the original COD1 from the PC.
I guess I was spoiled by the old xbox where we got lots more free content.
I think if they kept it free it could sell more games. Say you saw COD3 in the game store with a sticker on it that said you'll have a bunch of free additional content to download once you got home. Or it could even promote sales for COD4.
I hope Gears breaks this trend. Rumor is some free downloads for that one are coming.

I'm waiting for more small maps before I really get into the multiplayer on CoD3. I play CoD2 quite a bit with a small group of friends and we all have 3 but don't play because there really aren't any small maps for us to play on. Playing a huge map with 5 people is just boring. I need maps like Kalach, Alam Halfa, Amaye sur something and Moscow.

Great! My friend and I play the game all the time and we really need more maps. I love the town maps, better be some more of those.
