Today's hottest game video: Wii fatality

It was only a matter of time. We bow our heads in a moment of silence for the first Nintendo Wii fatality. Is this a wakeup call to the industry? DO YOU HEAR THE CALL?

Seriously, they joke on the site that Fox News will see this and think its real. We're pretty sure that somewhere, somehow, someone is already believing it. Wait for the backlash to hit, probably spearheaded by everyone's favorite political gamehater, He Who Shall Not Be Named. In fact, let's declare a moratorium on him in the news, unless something spectacular happens, for all of 2007.

thats what you get for walking infront of someone while in the middle of a good game, I've considered it with the old wired controllers, woulda have been more obvious though, so I never ended up killing anyone.

Actually I rarely play games, but I must say, when I was a kid, my mom walking infront (when it would have been just as simple to go around)of me while playing Super Mario or hockey was really irratating :P

Like POCKoCLOCK say, this post is INCREDIBLY confusing. Especially because there is no video after the jump, I wasn't sure if you were talking about Mortal Kombat or something else until I pressed "Read."

Looks like someone forgot to add the code for the video, perhaps? ;)

I know its staged and all that, but that kind of excessive Wiimote waving is really not necessary.

I give the video a small 'heh' laugh. Not all that funny IMHO.

I was thinking, isnt a lawsuit over the wiimotes about as stupid as someone suing a baseball bat manufacturer because someone lets go of a bat and it hits someone?

Has nobody else thought to mourn the Wiimote, a third of whose body had to be lost for this movie?!

ahhh! My Wii's browser cant play the video! But I can fill this form.

The video *is* embedded. Flashblock shows me the right placeholder for the flash player, but when clicked it disappears. Seems the problem is on GameVideo's end.

You know one time I saw You-know-who feeding on Unicorn blood. At the time I though nothing of it, but now it's all starting to come together...

Arggghhh... that video has nothing to do with Joey and David.com - they were just lucky enough to have their ad offered up when a supposed 'journalist' first viewed the clip and so decided it was from them.
