Yeah my fam and I did the same thing this Christmas. My brother and sister both moved their families out to Arizona (I live in New York) and we used the 360 with the vision cam to get the fam together for Christmas.

My brother and his wife just recently had their first child. I brought my 360 over to my parent's place and my father was able to see the baby for the first time. Fun times had by all.

That's awesome. Sure, it's not the first time families have connected via webcam, but the difference here is that the Xbox 360 is (gasp) n00b-proof. I mean, come on, how long did it take for Chris' family to get the Vision camera up? Five seconds? Ten? It's a lot easier (plug in) than setting one up on a PC.

I kind of wish my family had a 360 with a Vision camera this Christmas as well, because they were out in California this year and I missed watching my nephews unwrap their gifts (you know once you get older Christmas is about watching the kids unwrap their gifts more than getting any yourself).

I did the same thing this year using Skype with my family. It was me at home with my green screen and small tree setup and my whole family at my parents house for a meal and hanging out with me one at a time... It was really really cool.

Touching and made me want to cry. I love technology!

I can see why the 360 is a staple in the living room and just in the home period, features like this can bring so many people together. Now only if my mother would learn how to use a 360...

I live in NY and my cuz lives in Minnesota, the other night we spent 5 hours and change in video chat and drinking beers together.

When it was all over, I could barely stand up!!

LOL.....Modern Technology rules!!

This was my first Christmas with no family. I bought an xbox360 and talked with my boyfriend who lives out of state which really helped me to deal with the holidays in a way you wouldn't believe. Thanks.

Did this with my friend the other day. Turned on a filter and it looked like A Scanner Darkly :)
