@18

Jeff I work in a game store on Long Island and we had PS3s all week last week. We didn't finally sell the last one until Sunday. It isn't regional.

Actually, if the PS3 used HD DVD, they'd be in the same situation. The drive is more expensive than a DVD drive and in limited production. Keep in mind HD DVD came out after the Xbox 360 was introduced. And Blu-Ray came out shortly after HD DVD.

The one thing that would have changed everything would have been if the PS3 had a DVD drive. The system would have been far cheaper, the PS3 would be been available much sooner, and in much better supply.

I was Wii shopping today and went to 12 different stores in the Huntington WV, and Ashland KY area.

Each store had many PS3 in stock and not one of them had a single Wii.

PS3 is VERY easy to get.
