I really hope Sega stuffs those goodies in a Collector's Edition for the US release of the 360 version. I'd preorder it in a heartbeat.

I enjoy most games with Mechs in them, so i'm sure i'll enjoy this one.

And the fact that I don't have to buy a PS3 to do it makes this just that much more awesome ^_^.

sweet! I remember Armored Core 2 being a lot of fun, and the visuals for this new one look really slick.

has anyone read a review for this game? I didn't even know it was out already

Well bubbastump, I don't believe Armored Core 4 was ever a PS3 exclusive. In fact it was stated to be released on the Xbox 360 from the get go. I could be wrong, but the AC4 to Xbox 360 isnt the news here, its the special edition bonus that is the news.

Here's the link to prove it.

We can tell the video game industry is is maturing when a game's cover art becomes more sophisticated than a novel's.

Yeah, I'll pass. This game is getting terrible reviews over in Japan.

I'll take a Chromehounds 2 please! With better balanced mech designing.

From Software makes both Chromehounds and Armored Core, but it seems the reviews for Armored Core are a little lower than those for Chromehounds. It seems AC games have never really been reviewed too well, but then again, good mech games are (for some screwed up reason) very rare.

Anyway, the price for this collector's thing is really good. It's less than $70 IN JAPAN. Amazing...

Chromehounds was an amazing game that had its flaws. The single player was an after thought, and most reviewers only played that part. Its online multiplayer was a huge game of real time Risk, with teams of up to 6 players duking it out over a huge area against 6 other people. A perfect night of online multiplayer made this easily the best mech game ever created. However, the flaws such as the online grouping, and cheese builds brought it back down to reality where no game can ever be beyond perfect. For the first month or so before people found these cheese builds, Chromehounds was near perfection. A mech heads dream game brought for the world to play.

I am hoping From Software can learn from their mistakes and bring out Chromehounds 2. Possibly make it online only, so as to basically force reviewers to play the game how it was designed to.
