Over the holiday break we were diligently trying to locate the last few COG tags in Gears of War so we could get those special COG achievements. And we still haven't succeeded. But, after beating the game in both hardcore and insane difficulties and coming out with only 28 COG tags, it still just sucks. So, after some quick Googling we've stumbled upon a few great resources for those of you who need some help locating those tags.
First, here are some written instructions that explain which act and chapter each COG tag is located and a short description. Second, above is a YouTube video showing each and every COG tag location in the game ... and comes in at a relatively low six minute watch. Hopefully these two information sources will help those of you who can't get those COG tag achievements, and if not .... well then you're screwed buddy.

Awesome! I've been stuck with 29 for a week or so and the written guide helped me but I couldnt remember if I had gotten one or not.. thanks to this video I got them all! I was missing the one at 4:28..

Heh, I'm in the same boat. All I need to do is beat RAAM on Insane and I've finished the game on all difficulty modes, but I've still got like 4 COG tags left to find.

Nice, that video helped a lot. I was stuck on 28 after beating the game twice. I found my last two right after one another during the "China Shop" chapter, COG Tag 11 and 12 according to the text guide posted.

I thought about doing that, but since I recently changed my gamertag (after the 1 month free trial ended, renewed it and grew tired of my name so I changed it) I lost the few achievements I had. Maybe one day I'll do Insane and regain the stuff I lost when I beat it on Hardcore, the other stuff I had on Rainbow six is no biggy.

Yeah, after a few hours of searching I managed to get all of them and I was proud of myself, even though I needed a little help to pull it off. =)
I found the video you posted to be the most useful, the most of the time I used this guide that had a combination of text and pictures. I don't have the link on me though.

this game is great, but i still think it lacks alot and if you think im crazy maybe i am, but im ranked in the top 100 on all the gametypes and i still think the game is missing one important thing that Halo got right, and that was the option to work without a team, the moment you loose someone its over, unlike halo even without radar, you could run and lone gun it, in this game it takes that Rambo Factor as i like to call it out of the game, which for me and most kids who love to be the maniac its boring, but hey epics got my money now, but if the sequal is the same, they aint gonna get a penny
