Wow, I had only just discovered TV shows on the net and so far I have watched Jackass Seasons 1-3, The Office UK Seasons 1-2, The Office US Seasons 1-3 (although 3 is not yet complete), some Pimp My Ride, South Park and That 70's Show, and Season 3 of Lost (as we do not have this yet in Australia). I LOVE THIS!!! Although, I am not 100% sure of the legality, but hey. A great website I use is http://www.yourtvlinks.com

"Whlie! Whlie! Whlie!" The knights who shout "Whlie!"

That's one of the only product placements that makes me feel good. That and all the XBox's on every HBO series.

I don't think this is product placement - this episode was fairly recent, if anything they would've use Call of Duty 2 to show off the visuals or something... I'm betting this was just a favorite of the people who make The Office and act in it.

That was a critique of the Office when it first premiered...it's generally considered to have staked out its own (brilliant identity), particularly through the second season.

It was product placement - and it was CoD2 being played.

This episode was great making the show much better for us gamers. I especially like the seen when they point out Tim is using a sniper rifle on a small non-sniping map.

Boy, American Office really is crap. Ricky Gervais made that show, even if it wasn'r always funny.

I/m British and I dissagree, I think the American Office is actually as good as if not better than the British version. It's a very different show (after the first series) but holds up very well.

I'll admit, I heard amazing things about how funny the american office was, and I love Steve Carell, so that's the version I watched first. Then I watched the UK version. Aside from the fact that they obviously just copied the scenarios from the first episode, I thought the UK version was crap. It's so needlessly vulgar. When I'M offended by a show, it's pretty bad. I didn't even finish watching the rest of the season. Steve Carell makes the show.

Everyone, you should watch the entire episode. There's a really sweet (sweet as in kind, not sweet as in awesome) where Jim's throws his new crush a pretend hand grenade, and she tosses some paper clips to create a pretend explosion. CoD was integrated really well into the episode.

lol my favorite quotes from this episode:

"Whats the name of the dentist you went to?"
"uhh.....Crentist..."
"That sounds an awful like Dentist."
"Yeah, well, maybe thats why he became one."

and

"We just need a stratedgy ok? We're gonna set up a trap in the gun room. Jim are you using the mp40 or the 44?"
"uh...Sniper Rifle?"
"Sniper rifle??!?! What?!?! Are you playing for the other team?!?"
You don't snipe in Carentan!
"Saboteur! I'm gonna kill you for real! The game is over, I'm really gonna shoot you."

Michael Scott: 'Hug it out, bitch.' That is what men say to each other after a fight. They hug it out, in doing so they just let it go, and walk away, and they're done. Not a good idea to say that to a woman, however, I've found. Doesn't translate.

lol classic

The original Office was brilliant, but I think the American version of the Office really came into it's own by the second season, and is having an incredibly funny third season.

Keep in mind Ricky Gervais is one of the producers of the American version (along with Stephen Merchant) and occasionally writes for the show. He just had an episode called 'the Convict', which minus the current situations involving the reoccuring characters, could have easily been an episode of the British version, had that version not ended.

If you haven't seen the American version of the Office, be sure to catch it. Basically the premise is a documentary or reality crew is following the day-to-day operations of a paper company. The 2nd and 3rd seasons are the best.

Also worth catching are the webisodes or extra content on NBC.com. Over the summer they featured an original story released as a few minutes each week involving the accountants. If they still have em, the 'More You Know' promos by the Office staff were pretty funny, and be sure check out 'Get a call from Dwight'

This is an awesome episode.

To the other people... you really can't compare the two offices (UK/US) They take the same idea but pursue it in an entirely different direction. The US version really branched out by season 2. The UK version is classic.. as for the US.

Don't be a British Office Snob!

Sure it took off to a slow start, but the British office had one of the worst pilots of the season when it premiered.

If you're not watching this weekly, you're missing out.

This show is going to take home a ton of awards this year, you have to support TV like this so we don't get more Reality shows with old 80's Stars! You wouldn't want "So you want to be the next Screech?" Taking it's place on the line up.

So don't be a British Office snob!
