
With current production numbers for the handheld at 2.2 million units monthly, Nintendo is upping the ante to 2.5 million. Not a significant jump in production scale, however it should quench some of the thirsty Japanese consumers who are dying to drink from the DS Lite waters.
Of course, now with Nintendo officially entering the Korean market, the supplies for the handheld are going to be strained that much more. How many units monthly will the world need before hungry gamers are satisfied?
