I own this game as of this weekend and it's bad. I mean, really bad. ESPN NFL 2k5 was twice the game this thing ever was, and now if I want to play an NFL game I have to go through EA.

They don't have the lineups right, the game plays like crap, the animations STILL look stupid but they are the only show in town.

They would have sold 5,000,001 if the game didn't suck. I loved Madden04 for XBox, but even though they've gotten prettier, they aren't nearly as much fun.

Suprise suprise, what happens when you remove competition? The top dog gets complacent and quality drops. Why is a large company going to make big changes to a franchise that sells incredibly well on name alone, when they are in zero danger of anyone intruding on their market share?

Too bad nobody in the NFL took Market Monopolies 101, because this is only going to make them look bad as a result.

I admit that I got suckered into buying this POS game yet again...but after playing it a couple of weeks, I had to call EA to get my money back. It is just not a game that is worth $60 anymore. One of the worst things that has ever happened in the videogame world is when EA got the exclusive NFL license. It has been all downhill since then. NFL 2K5 was so much better than even this years Madden and it was 2 years old...awful.

I try to tell others not to buy this game, but apparently nobody listens since it sold a bazillion copies. EA needs to be sent a message, but they won't get it as long as we keep buying 5 million copies.

I'm not going to say much. It seems like everyone here agrees, but when it's the only option for a NFL game, it's not that AMAZING anymore, is it?

I waited in line for madden this year. what a terrible game. never again will I purchase another madden game. I'm damn near a total EA boycott as well (hoping Skate will revive my little faith in EA)

I'm Listening RS.
I was thinking about caving to the EA Monopoly.
However, you guys answered my question before I asked it.

Dear NFL, Please Take away EA's Exclusive License.

I to dont like the EA exclusive NLF rights...

Did they make a contract or something? If so, how long was it for?

I dont like a gameplay of madden 07...its not smooth enough.

I'm not all against EA though....I plan on getting NFS: Carbon, its looks like a good racing game, I DL its demo...they did a good job with the change for modding your car.
