I got loads of stuff, but game-wise, all the games I got were for the Wii this year: COD3, Red Steel, Monkeyball, Monster Truck, Madden, and I'm going to swap my Marvel Alliance for Spongebob lol.
I was thinking of getting COD3 for the 360 but I wanted to give a try on the Wii first.... already have COD2 for the 360 and wanted to try something new.
Of course, all of this depends on wether or not I can stop playing Elebits (impulse buy) long enough to give anything else a chance!

Me mums refused to buy me anything video game related, and opted for linens instead. Pops did manage to sneak in one game related gift, an XBox 360 battery charge station, perfect for all your wired controller needs. Goin' back today.

And thousands of mothers in the US gave me a reason to stop playing XBox Live as thousands of obnoxious, racist, 9 year olds got Gears of War; 9 year olds who never hand the headset to their mothers for me to lecture on proper parenting...

On a lighter note, picked up COD3 yesterday, $20 off. It's got the same epic feel that 2 did. I'm enjoying it, but note, this is only the second or third WWII shooter I've ever touched.

Wishing you all a Merrier Christmas! And all that other junk for you non-Christmas people... Spread the love

I got a CRAPTASTIC PS3. I'm one of the fortunate ones that have a HDTV that only accepts 480P and 1080i over the component inputs and no HDMI inputs. So my games and movies only play in 480P. What is up with the placement of the analog sticks on the toy-like (too small) controller. They are WAY too close together. My thumbs interfere with each other when I slide them towards each other. $60+ for component cables??!! What a hunk of (expensive) crap! I'll stick with my 360 and hope I get a fair amount for the PS3 on eBay.

I surprisingly did not get to many electronics this year. Mostly Army crap, and just useful things for around the house. My electronics were simple enough, Logitech 5.1 speakers (cant remember the model, at work now), my brothers old keyboard because he got a new one for x-mas (I like to include these ^_^), 250gb SATA.

I got a 32" LCD HDTV for my brother and myself (Westinghouse), and my dad surprized all of us with a 56" 1080p DLP HDTV Samsung. This thing is pretty, but it has a 10" mark on the screen, so he is going to exchange it in a few weeks.

But the best present I got this x-mas is a Memory Foam cover for my matress. This thing took my hard and stiff matress of 7 years and transformed it into the best bed I have ever slept in. I highly recommend these things to anyone who has a shitty bed but not the $600 needed to buy a new matress. These things cost from $120-$150 at costco.

Scored big on Wii front:

DBZ - for me
Monkeyball - for me
Elebits - for me and wife
Rayman - for wife

DBZ is complicated as hell, but is probably the best anime fighter I've ever played.

My wife scored cooking mama, which is suprisingly fun for a cooking "sim". A friend of mine got us Castevania: PoR. New DSlites for me and the wife (black for me, pink for her), and a white DSlite for my mom (to replace her phat) as well as tetris DS.

Got a bluetooth adapter and got my wiimote hooked to the PC last night. Gonna play with that a bit more this week. Hoping some better software to support it will come out from a non-anti-semite.

Got GH2 for my brother. $15 giftcards for all my friends.

It was a good christmas for all.

From my wife I got the Burger King games Pocket Bike Racer and Big Bumpin'. Big Bumpin' is a surprisingly fun game although I beat it all in one sitting. Definitely worth the $4 anyway.

I'm trying to get it connected to the internet with a wireless router. It recognizes the router and everything, it just won't connect for some reason. It seems Linksys doesn't know how to speak english, and Sony just blaims it on the router company. Help Please!
