Spotted: Kill Bill Xbox 360 faceplate

We came across this dope (custom) Xbox 360 faceplate during our tireless search to bring you all the "news" that's fit to print. It's being designed by Mr. Chris Lucas, who seems to be exhibiting a Kill Bill fetish. Too bad he missed our contest deadline ... by more than a year!
Anyone else got hawt faceplate pics to share?

Even though it's been completely underused by developers since the 360 launch, the customizable faceplate is the one thing that sets the 360 apart from its competition, customization-wise. Sure you can customize the UI of all three but 360 is the only one you can truly change the appearance of to reflect one's personality. More developers should get involved. IMO, a faceplate should be included with every pre-order for every game...

I too like that you can customize the face plate. I got a free Gears face plate from Circuit City that I plan to paint over. As soon as I do, I'll put the pics up somewhere.

Has anyone tried the printable custom templates? I was looking at them yesterday and considering giving them a shot. I've got a color laser printer, so the image should look good though not very shiny. I didn't get one though because I will probably end up making a whole system human skin skin and getting an online company to produce it on removable vinyl for me. I'm quite surprised I haven't seen a human skin skin yet, I think it could be quite good if it looked like patches of skin roughly stitched together.

otakucode: Dude, you've got some major issues. A Human skin faceplate. I hope you get over your fetish soon or consider some psychological help. That's just nasty and creepy. Remember me to not get you mad or I might end up as a faceplate.

Woa, that Kill Bill faceplate is the the only one I've ever seen I would consider using in place of the default. Why can't that thing be mass produced?

Mine is still in the works. It's drawn, now we are transfering it to a vinyl printer via a graphics company that does vehicle wraps and such. and it involves custom art work depicting one of my favorite games, POWER STONE! when its done you will definitely see it on joystiq.

I don't think this counts as a faceplate mod, but I think Microsoft is taking a step in the right direction with this bold new design for the 360.
