Today's hottest game video: Japanese fighter

Oh cool, Missingno's in that game.

I can see the appeal pretty clearly -- 2D fighters are fun, and this game has a clean look and appears very snappy and responsive. Reminds me a little of a prettied-up Samurai Shodown 4, but with more vertical movement.

What's with the glitched character graphics?

The game is still in beta -_-;;

But yes, I'm really into this game because it's win and has many anime girl stereotypes, such as the mandetory school girl with a sword.

Actually, the game is not in beta and it was released about a week ago. The bug is caused by an overheating Arcade board, because of improper ventilation.

Who will win the human or the box that sometimes transforms into a human? I'm putting my money on the human.

Did you even watch the video? Put down the fantard juice and see what he's talking about. The girls turn into boxes of static. It was a perfectly valid question. Not everyone is fighting in your console war, spaz.

It is a pretty fun game. It was released at the local arcade last Friday, and they put it on free play for the day. There were no weird glitches when I was playing, but I got rocked. I love the goth-loli girl (Lieselotte, as I recall), but man is she useless. Maybe she's got some actual moves, but wow...without that, her normal attacks do nothing. Almost everyone seems to play as Heart (the game's namesake), the sword girl featured in the video above (who's name escapes me), or Mei Fang. It gets a little irritating without some variety.

That's not Missingno., that's 'M Block!

Anyway, this game doesn't excite me (aside from the Pokémon references that the developers put into the game), but I like that picture up there of the Japanese arcade!

Imagine if today's hottest video on YouTube had been a Halo 3 trailer. Would the title read:

yeah i have been following this game since it was annonced. i really cant wait to play it.

obviously to ride the popularity train given by H doujins, lots of people play Mai shiranui / chun li / kasubu cuz the hotness, and given the increase of sexism in fighter games these days, it was a no brainer.

The gameplay lokf very fast paced tho, but the chars lacks some kind of carisma.
