Defcon dev announces new game: Subversion
Introversion, creator of indie darlings Darwinia and DEFCON, have announced their next project will be called Subversion. Company co-founder Chris Delay made the announcement earlier last week, noting that the project is early in production and the development will be blogged.Understanding that many developers fall into the trap where hype leads to disappointment, Delay assures that he will make no promises as to final features and game play details.
As another point, Delay points out that the attached images, including the one to the right, is not a representation of the game and anyone who treats the screenshots as such are mistaken. You've been warned.

Introversion is effing awesome. I played a demo of Darwinia, and I own DEFCON. Both are awesome games. And I'm glad Delay isn't going for the hype route, as it makes him seem more sensible than some other developers. :D

A game based around a revision control system! Sounds great!

Shouldn't it be open-source? Will they have a prequel called Concurrent Versions System?

Yeah, these guys are like the real games for the underground. I love them. Hope they keep up the great stuff.
Oh and I agree with #8 you should add Hacker Elite to your list of great games by Introversion.

Eric B: I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought of that at first.
