So long as "easier to pickup" does not translate to "no ninja ropes" I will still buy it.

Ahem. Been a fan of Worms since Saturn, all the way up until Worms World Party online for the Dreamcast! Oh man. This is one game I might actually put my headset on for.

Love Worms, how much will they rape us for this though?? 1200 points.....FUCKERS!!!

I wouldn't mind paying 1200 for HD Worms with online multiplayer. I want worms... now... WOOOOOORRRRMMMSSSSS. GAAHHHH

) show the weapon icons. All the standard weapons seem to be there. I seem to remember that holy hand grenades and exploding old ladies etc. needed to be unlocked. Ninja rope is there.

Oh dear. It looks remarkably like the poor PSP version.

Anytime I hear the words "simplified" and the phrase "pick up and play" I get extremely worried. Especially with a game like Worms. Majikthise, I don't know which versions you've played, but that looks like a pretty anemic weapon selection. I mean just at a quick glance, no 'strike' weapons? Even in overhead levels they should be visible but greyed out. Looks like no digging weapons, either. I know some of the Team17 crew was anti-digging ("darkside" they called it), but that removes some serious strategy.

I love the game - I played pretty much every one from the first DOS version (sorry, never had an Amiga) to the more recent Worms World Party for Windows (was that the last true 2D version? PSP notwithstanding?). Never had the heart to try the 3D ones.

Anyway, I'll probably grab it anyway because I'm an enormous sucker, but I really hope Team17 doesn't disappoint us by making this craptastic or half-assed. I never even bothered picking up the PSP version when they refused to include online play - I mean what the hell is that? No online play in freaking WORMS?! My respect has been dropping steadily...

Yay! I missed this game so much. Can't wait to play it again. Good move Microsoft!
