Gears of War wins another "game of the year" award

Gears of War
took home another "game of the year" award, this time courtesy of GameDaily (who is also owned by AOL, Joystiq's parent company). The shooter edged out -- you guessed it -- Zelda: Twilight Princess (Wii) in addition to Guitar Hero II (PS2) for the honor. So as of right now, if GameDaily, Gamespot, and Next-Gen were all movie trailer voice actors, they would probably sound something like this (in a deep, overly-dramatic tone of course): "If you only play one game this year, play Gears of War!!!"

[Thanks, Dan]
