How is it that so many Gaming sites now seem to be so overtly 'against' one of the major Gaming companies that creates and sustains this rapidly expanding worldwide industry? The only newsworthy aspect of this so-called "story" is that a website deems the mind-bogglingly insignificant speck of data that there are 7 consoles sitting on a shelf in some shop in the middle of nowhere worthy of a frontpage article! This whole anti-Sony trend is beginning to take on bizarre, frenzied, witchhunt-like proportions. It's analagous to all of the tv guide websites constantly slagging off say, HBO one of the more popular cable channels. Very, very weird. And if Sony does eventually fail, as so many of you rabid x-bot and wii-wielding mobs seem to want so badly, I have a feeling a good many folks are going to miss them...

I went to a best buy on cape cod on the 26th in the afternoon, the first thing I saw was an employee standing over several ps3's. I picked one up right away, the guy said the ps3's haven't moved all day. Immediately after me, 3 people bought the ps3 on impulse. I came back the next day with a friend to get some dvd's, and there were still two ps3's left. There were no wii's :( Kind of a sad sight, but I'm not worried. Now that I've been playing the PS3 for a few days, I'm loving it. To bad it's getting so much negative press, it's an awesome system. But that's what they get for having a shitty marketing campaign and shittier console launch. ... and that shitty font...

I saw one sitting on the shelf last night, lonely. Not even a single sole inquired about it or looked at it.

I just came back from a Toys R Us in Fort Worth, TX and there were 5 PS3s available. No Wiis.

A guy and his two kids were going into the game section and they paused when they saw the Wii display. "Look! The Wii!" They were disappointed to find that there were none in stock. They walked right past the PS3.

It is interesting that Frys in Dallas has had 10 or so PS3s for at least the last three days. They are only selling them in bundles with 5 games or combinations of games and blue-ray movies.

But, alas, strange/sad/exciting that only one PS3 has disappeared (sold) from the cabinet on the sales floor in the last 3 days.

I was at Target not to long ago and they had 4 PS3s and none of them were selling and I asked how long they had been there and they said 'over 3 days'.
