I ordered four and they sent eight. That's not really a vote of confidence in their durability.

I think Sony has been paying the media to spin this story, as whenever I mention the Wii to gaming illiterate people, they say, and this is adirect quote "It that the video game thing that's smashing everyone's tv's and hurting people?'

I ordered 3, and they sent me two separate envelopes with 3 a piece. Guess I'm kind of set in regards to wii straps :D

I ordered 4 as well (even though I only have 2 remotes ATM). Probably getting them after New Years. *crosses fingers for 8 straps*

Does anybody know what that brown gunk is on the outside of the package? I got a lot on mine too. Is it something to do with shipping?

#2 - It doesn;t say anything about durability. It says that there's either a glitch in the ordering process or someone in their shipping department is lazy or subversive.

If I get 6 like I'm now expecting, I'm replacing the strap on my DS and camera with Wii straps.

Be real, you guys. The box upon ordering said "How many remotes need straps?" or something to that effect. They probably sent two per remote *just in case* they wear a bit down the line. This shouldn't be viewed as insecurity in the straps, or as a processing error. More than likely, it's Nintendo's generosity to it's customers.

Nah, I has to be a order system error. I've noticed that Nintendo sends out a confirmation of when they plan to ship and when it ships. In my case, they sent the first order of straps right away with no confirmation and then sent a second order a few days later with a confirmation. So within a few days of each other...I got 2 sets of staps.

I got 4... and another 4... the same day. I plan on putting mine on everything I (phone, mouse, soda can, dog, etc.) to get a jump on the wii games of tomorrow.

I got mine today but Nintendo stiffed me on some of the postage. I apparently owe the mailman 13 cents. I wonder if it'll be 26 cents in a few days if a second set comes in.
