That's wa-y-y-y too obvious! Try finding the one in single player! It took me till the second round of replay to find him. If you ever played Goldeneye you just know if there is a row of crappers in the joint at least one will be occupied. Fenix had to bootfuck the door to find him, but at least the poor dead bastard managed to empty his gibs while staying high and dry; there being a hellish downpour going on outside that night.[hint*] Oh go ahead and look, you know you wanna! lol lol

Why do people insist on setting these things to stupid annoying wank-rock?
You'd think after the massive popularity of the "Mad World" trailer things might have changed, but no.

Wow, some of you are completely retarded. The "Mad World" commercial's use of music is something that the intelligent people of the world like to refer to as "artistic." A peaceful, somber song contrasts the violent, hopeless scenario of the game. Had it been made with mindless, growling noise like this shit, it would've simply been another dime-a-dozen POS commercial that seemed like it was just another fanboy Windows Movie Maker montage.

If you can't appreciate something just because it isn't "rock out with your cock out" macho shit, then please just keep your simian mouth shut. Wouldn't want to let any of that precious testosterone escape, would you? Might turn into one of those doggone fairies that you hear so much about on the TEE-vee. You don't have to like it, and someone isn't a "fag" because they do.

Oh and, by the way, I also listen to artists like Rage, in addition to the "bleeding heart," "emo" material. Learn to diversify and, please, have a nice day.

Obviously, a Rob Zombie song off a critically acclaimed mtuli platinum album from a few years ago is going to be shittier than bands of such high caliber as Hedley, Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance or Dashboard Confessional. Hell, Im sure theres actually a couple dozen bands that sound exactly like Fall Out Boy and Hedley alone that are all better than Rob Zombie.

Hah, who needs to sell decent records and music when you can flood the market with a million clones of the same bands you already have, and teenagers will buy it all anyways?

Dont fool yourselves, kids. You're not the first to be musically exploited, the Sex Pistols were a 'fake' band (created not to make music, but just to make money off the 'movement') too, and they helped found punk, one of my favourite genres. You're just the first kids being exploited who have learned to use the internet to whine and defend the fact that you're most defiantly not buying the same band over and over again by investing your money into these people.

You'll see. A few years from now, compare albums of all these bands you listen to against the sales of Mr Zombie, and tell me if any cd comes close.

Of course, I agree with everyone who says everything after Hellbilly went downhill. Sinister Urge was kind of meh for me, Educated Horses was bullshit. I wouldn't pay to see this man in concert anymore. But just because he might lick balls now, doesn't mean his music from a decade ago suddenly turned worse too.

Rob Zombie, in his heyday, was never shat on as much as the emo music of today is. To even have something called 'emo' in polite society is a bad thing, I dont know any other genre of music other than maybe 'porno' that carries the kind of negative connotations as 'emo' does. Maybe thats cause it annoys the hell out of more people than any other genre. Heck, not even emo kids like their music being called emo.

"Check the video out after the jump if you can stand the annoying music."

I happen to like Meet the Creeper, despite it not being the most rock your face off song on that album.

"You don't have to like it, and someone isn't a "fag" because they do."

Try turning that around on yourself if you can put down the eyeliner and razorblades long enough to think outside of your pretentious little " I understand everything so much better than everybody else" shell, Emo Lad.

White Zombie was great. Rob is great, though getting older hasn't really done good things to the vigor of his style.

Question 1: Because people like to listen to it, obviously. I'm sorry you can't wank and enjoy yourself.

question 2: You'd rather every video game commercial was built out of violent scenes without sound effects while a cover of an 80s song scores it? A large part of why the Mad commercial works is because it's differrent. What do you expect should change because one commercial stood out a bit? I'm not really keen on the soundtrack to UT2007 being done by Good Charlotte or some other nightmarish scenario, thank you.

You claim to love punk rock, but you obviously don't know anything about the history of the genre. The first emo bands were punk. emo originally grew out of the 80's DC hardcore scene. It may be a "gay name," but it was probably coined by fans, not bands.

My Chemical Romance, Fallout Boy, and Dashboard Confessional ARE NOT emo bands. My Chemical Romance and Fall Out Boy are pop or pop-punk, and Dashboard Confessional is probably closest to Indie Folk. The false genre-isation of these bands is simply due to label reps getting hold of the "emo" name. Probably the only popular band that is actually playing emo is Rise Against.

Emo was an original movement among punk rock, playing music that sounds original and different. Rob Zombie is playing the same 70's/80's shock rock that he played with White Zombie, which in turn was copied from other bands like KISS. So before you insult an entire genre, try actually learning a thing or two about its origins.

Being a little off topic(And off topic with the discussion) I'd have to say I'm not really happy about Mad World being in the Gears of War commercial. I've enjoyed this song when it came out way back when(as I liked the Tears for Fears original, but I like Jules' version better. TfF always felt like they were forcing the lyrics into the music style, while Jules' music style seems to fit the lyrics. Wow, this is a long parenthesis), but it's gone from somewhat mainstream to like über mainstream. I dunno, I just can't stand when stuff that's good goes mainstream. I even used to like Harry Potter back in the day, but then when the movies started coming out and people started going all 'Trekkie' style over it I just stopped reading it all together. The mainstream just killed it for me.

While Mad World hasn't quite gone that route(Hell, it's a song, it's hard for it to exactly become the next Star Trek), it still kind of dissapoints me. I liked the days when I would hear the song and go,"Cool." Now it's like I hear the song and suddenly someone has to say,"Blah blah Mad World, blah blah blah, Gears of War, blah blah!"

My dad, who's last game he played was the original Legend of Zelda, came up to me and started talking about Gears of War, the pricing, and of course the song(I think he was reading about it on some stock website, probably yahoo.)

#23 csquared, unfortunately, the term "emo" has in fact been bastardized, and the current line-up of interchangeable bands are what is "emo".

I just thought your attack on #17 was a little unnecessarily strong, since it wasn't him who changed the definition.

To finish, dead guy on toilet is pretty funny, Rob Zombie is still cool but he focuses on too many outside-of-music projects, and bands that fall in the current definition of emo tend to suck, but I'm sure the backlash against them wouldn't be so great if the people who enjoyed their music weren't so damn annoying.

What I don't understand is why "emo" is popular with one group, and "screaming metal grating throat" popular with another, but pure skill and chops of the likes of Dragonforce is dismissed with the wave of a hand.

They got to be the best band I've heard since the grunge movement de-railed musical evolution.

Hahaha, you either like Rob Zombie or you like Dashboard?

Zombie isn't offensively bad, but he's not particularly good, or hard.
He's certainly better than most of these videos, which have crap like Disturbed, Godsmack, Korn, etc in them. Bands that should have gone the way of Limp Bizkit.

Then again, they're still better than ones that have even worse music like Avenged Sevenfold, Atreyu or 18 Visions. If anyone can tell the difference between those bands.

Thanks Rev. Good to know I'm not hated here by everyone.

I personally stopped listening to the radio and "popular" music because its all trash. I liked Rob Zombie back in the 90's, but I wouldn't call myself a fan. I loved the metal bands of the 80's, even though I was too young to experience them at the time. Led Zepplin and Pink Floyd are the fathers of modern rock. Aerosmith was awesome 20 years or more ago.

What pulls me to dragonforce is not just the raw skill and talent of the members, but the musicality and harmony/melody of their tunes. They do more than scream, and they're not trying to be the latest death metal grating throat people who get a following because some record exec tells DJ's to play them or else, like all the rest of the crap on radio.

I also like Nightwish for similar reasons. If you've not heard of them, they're norwegian, I believe. I guess they'd be classified as Goth Metal.

Funny, what pushes me away from Dragonforce is the annoyingly happy and high pitched vocals and their inability to write anything other than 8-bit Konami themes.

The Konami themes are cool, everything surrounding it is awful. And those vocals, for the love of god those vocals. It's like he just paid an expensive dominatrix to mash his testicles in a vice and couldn't imagine anything hotter...
