BioShock not headed back to PS3

A recent MotorStorm post set off a debate among readers as to whether BioShock was coming to the PS3 or not. The game does have a bit of a checkered history and it's a game that we've been keeping a close eye on.

Recent reports from the likes of Maxconsole and Kotaku have the highly anticipated game returning to the PS3. However, we can find no evidence that this is true. The scans these sites are using as confirmation are from May of 2006, before it became an Xbox 360 exclusive.

So, it's not the best news to bring in the New Year, but better not to get your hopes up. However, if I were a betting man, I would say that we'll be seeing this game sooner or later on the PS3.

This will be a timed exclusive for the 360, I expect to see this at least 6 months after the 360 release on the PS3.

i dont think you'll see it on PS3 - - - if Microsoft have secured exclusivity i doubt thats gonna change.

and whats this rumour about tekken 360?

I think the real story here is the fact that people are trying to boast about the competition losing an exclusive...and the game it may lose isn't that great. I understand it's a personal opinion, but damn. A year after it comes out, no one is going to care about BioShock.

Heaven forbid some (not all) of you people boast about something that's proven to be a good game. Like Oblivion. The hype for that coming to the PS3 sure died.

Not with the exclusivity deal Microsoft worked out for this game you won't. You stand about as good a chance of seeing this on a PS3 as you do seeing Halo on a PS3. Ain't gonna happen and M$ will make certain of it the same way they did with Halo. Any rumblings of moving it off 360 will result in M$ just buying the developer.
