It's hard to take politics out now... after that **our** troops in the title. I really hope that don't happen again, the internet is a great place for information... and country agnostic information about Xbox360, games and etc. No one needs political information (not even a "our troops"!!!) in a Xbox360/games website/blog (specially for a .com site, not a .us site!).

Still... it's too late to the post now. Also, everyone talking about fighting freedom, just do a little research and you'll figure out that US Troops are in Iraq for industry and political interests, not to defend their homeland or fight to the freedom. EVERYONE outside US knows that, ve careful with the delusional blob the surrounds your country's media. Always looks to source materials, not digested and formed-opinion "sources". It's not hard.

...and to finish, if MS and Bungie wanted information about the game from trained soldiers, they should just get it from not-in-Iraq soldies, to not support this absurd war. There's no excuse for that.

I got to play the alpha of Halo 3 last week. To me it was pretty much Halo 2 with *slightly* better in game graphics & different weapons. Some of the new weapons are pretty cool though.

These Men and Women are volunteering because no one else will.
They give their lives every day so you can have the freedom of speach, so yo can tarnish the image of these brave souls?

You should be ashamed.
I don't know what nationality you are, but you are deffinately not an American.

@ Nif
And, for all your information, people don't hate America because America is free, they hate it because of years of abusive foreign policy. Because America supports Israel. Because America only intervenes when it's own interests are at stake. Why was nothing done about Darfur? About the Israel-Lebanon war? About the Rwandan genocide?

And what about all the other countries more accessible to these areas? Are they really too lazy or just plain scared to get involved? You make it sound like whenever there is a problem, the US should get involved. We're not the only country you know. It like all the other countries are scaredy cats, they don't want to get hurt or risk anything unless the US is there to take the fall.

"5. Umm, the last time I checked there isn't a draft going on. These people enlisted and knew the risk that they might be called into combat and heaven forbid DO THE JOB THEY ARE PAID FOR. Too many people join the military thinking they will be stationed somewhere stateside or in a non-combat zone where they can soak up the pay, the tuition and insurance benefits. Well, sorry you have to actually do your job. I appreciate what our soldiers do and I have much respect for them. But don't make it sound like this is something outside of the scoop of being in a military unit training to be a soldier for combat.
MS is great at the PR thing, what better way to gain some press for themselves then by using soldiers as their marketing tools. I'm sure this is less of "hey our soldiers deserve a treat" and more of "hey we can use the iraq war to push Halo into the news more". Bungie are some of the most arrogant, full of themselves devs/publishers out there and I could see them all laughing about this over a pint."

You know shutup, ok shutup, i hate bush a ton, but you can't go off at people who are serving their country, iraq is a mistake, but the humans over there arent.
