i dont think it will happen. it could but i dont know. almost all of namco's games are sony exclusive. especially tekken. 360 only has one game from namco so far and PS3 all ready has 2. it might happen but im not sure

Tekken hasn't always been Sony exclusive, a version for the GBA came out before so who knows if this is true.

This should surprise knowone.

3rd party publishers are going to recoup their development costs any way they can, and if it means porting a popular game to a different console, of course their going to do it.

Why should a 3rd party developer stay with a single console and not guarantee recouping dev costs? That would just be a financial no-no.

If Namco decides to port this game to 360 as well, and if Sony's numbers are right, by mid summer, that's potential to sell to close to 20 million folks. If they stick with a PS3 only version, that's about 6 million plus.

It just makes sense. $$$

not much of a loss in my opinion. DOA and VF are both better series

Tekken was always a Sony exclusive "when sony consoles dominated the market".

They no longer dominate the market, thus the ROI is just not as guaranteed anymore. Any games company with a brain is eyeing the 360 right now as a potential way to boost their profits. These developers are not "fanbois" there are in it to make cash. Why is this such a hard concept for you folks to grasp?

Exclusives will come and go; Especially since the developers haven't come up with anything innovative in the past 3, 4 or 5 versions of the same game with an added character or two.

Developers have become complacent and lack innovation; therefore they look to take the easy road and offer games non exclusively or exclusivley to Sonys competitors.

Proof! A particular horror game by capcom was released on a competing console and sold over 1,000,000 copies. This game offers nothing new; nor does the Grand Theft Auto Clone. Yet they were able to sell it to a competitor struggling to gain legitamacy along with it's gamers who were desperate for a new game that wasn't a FPS.

I do hope to see more exclusives disappear. This will allow the unknown game developer to introduce new and innovative games and gameplay that may have been overlooked in the past due to the monopolization of these other software companies and the exclusive/non exclusive deals to cover up a lack of innovation and getting a fast buck for the same repackaged games!

So go ahead and toot that Exclusive/Non Exclusivity horn! Let the other developers sneak in from behind and dismantle the Monopoly with new games and gameplay!

There are two sides to every story!

this is just another example of how a bad price in the market can make the costumers think posibles panoramas of the future of SONY in the gamming industry...

This is exactly the same NINTENDO history... soon or later sony will be in the need of change all the method on marketing and who knows.. maybe GAME PLAY will be changed. To bad... sony was my favorite... but i admit the big mistake in this PS3.
