Some of you may have seen this on the 'Stiq, but it involves the 360 version of Madden, so we figure it deserves a mention here. Young Kolton Mahoney -- the strapping lad pictured at right -- opened his brand new, sealed copy of Madden 07 on Christmas morning, popped the officially labeled DVD into his 360, and was His first thought: "This is definitely not Madden." Having reached this conclusion, Kolton informed his parents, who in turn contacted the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. This group hopes to work with police to track down the culprit. This won't be easy, according to one investigator. Considering the game was sealed, we'd say the act was committed at the manufacturing level. With any luck, the task force will track down the culprit and prevent this from happening again.
We have to agree with one of our fellow bloggers, though. When questioned on the subject, he had only one thing to say: "At least it's not, you know, Madden porn." Indeed.
