"It seems all good things really do come to those who wait."
In what prize and why way later than the competition?

Seems pretty strong, for those without a 360 anyway.

Yeah, the postponed the PS3 Europe launch so much, I wouldn't be suprised if Duke Nukemen Forever makes the launch list.

Those who wait. You're not kidding, everyone could have played Oblivion and Blazing Angels (if they so wanted to) a year ago once it releases.

Exactly, Bklynkid. But at least having played some of those games, we know the PS3 is getting some decent games at launch. Europe is better off in that sense (except for the whole waiting till March thing...) :/

"The cherished children's author will see some of his more popular works come to life in Rainbow Six: Vegas (which sees the six Color Rangers fight the addictive nature of gambling), Splinter Cell: Double Agent and the latest entry in the Ghost Recon franchise."

Since when was Clancy considered strictly a "children's author"? Rainbow Six was the only book that I knew of that he has made into a game. That was only one novel and had nothing to do with Vegas.

I finally have my first PS3 sighting, after all these reports of them collecting dust on shelves.

Saw at least 20 sitting on the floor in a BB in Des Moines. First time I had seen them. Thought about buying one just because, but decided to pass. Still have yet to find Wii's for my Grandparents and parents-in-law, as well as final 2 nunchucks for myself.

Y'know, having three Tom Clancy shooters might be seen as an admission that the target audience for the PS3 is a small clique of gamers with narrowly-defined tastes...

Whoa. You mean it's actually going to launch over here?

Early April fools, right?

Is there any faith that the PS3 will launch in Europe before Japan gets a decent number of consoles?

Slipstream Bro, get a clue, dude.

Isn't Elder Scrolls IV produced by Take 2, not Ubisoft?

The point of all of these posts is that good games are being put on the PS3.

Yes, they are already out on the 360, but despite of what many here might think, not everyone has a 360. If you went directly to the PS3 (no, I don't know why you'd skip the amazing 360, but that's not my point) there are plenty of awesome games coming for the PS3 in the next 6 months. And now that all consoles are out, titles will likely release simultaneously, like 'GRAW 2.'

Speaking of coming out late and on the 'other system,' has anyone played Splinter Cell: Double Agent on the Wii? I wonder if that's any good...

Slipstream, you're getting close to being nominated for the 'Sometimes Needs The Gag Explained To Him 2007' award. Also, the 'improved ghost capturing mechanics' are actually in G.B.A.W. 2, (Ghost-Buster Advanced Warlockfighter 2), not GRAW2.

It's apparently quite horrible, like all Wii multiplatform ports so far with the exception of Rayman (but that's not a real game):
