Hot damn Fight Night down to $30 from $60!?!?!? Borrowed it for a while from a friend, might buy it now so I can play him online. Good stuff joystiq
CMR @ Jan 4th 2007 10:24PM
I think the article should read...
"PS3 and Wii games weren't invited to the discount party, however. Only 360, PS2, GCN, Xbox, PSP, and GBA will see a lowered MSRP."
Dirk Dorkelson @ Jan 4th 2007 11:36PM
Sweet, I've been waiting for a price drop on LOTR and I've got a GameStop gift card burning a hole in my wallet.
CAL_GORE @ Jan 4th 2007 10:45PM
Are the NHL games really that low profile that they don't deserve to be mentioned as a notable title?
Also, after browsing the link, I have to say that the biggest surprise is FIFA 07 for the 360. Honestly, a $410 reduction is huge!

"Buy if you got 'em"
What does that even mean? Do you guys read what you write? Ever?
ZS @ Jan 4th 2007 11:01PM
Does this mean that stores will be dropping their prices tomorrow as well? I'd rather not head to Best Buy only to find out they are still pricing them at their old prices.
AlexH @ Jan 4th 2007 11:01PM
Also on the link it says "was" and then "new" (instead of "now"). What a day for typos.
Torrey @ Jan 4th 2007 11:12PM
I work at the Circuit City in South Portland, ME and I got word today to markdown the games on Friday morning.
David004 @ Jan 4th 2007 11:30PM
"Buy if you got 'em"
Yeah, WFT?
I think it should be, Buy them if you want them.
Mike G @ Jan 5th 2007 2:40AM
Typo:
Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth
should be
Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth II
Atelectasis @ Jan 5th 2007 12:15AM
Too bad they're all shitty games.
Gavin @ Jan 5th 2007 2:51AM
After spending some time with the 360, Wii, and PS3 recently, I have to say that none of them are yet worth the money. The 360 is the closest in my "Want To Own" category, but I've got far too many games to play for the consoles I have as well as my PC. Over the past few months I've picked up numerous great games recently for the PS2, GC, and XBox that were less than ten bucks and were worth three times that. I've been an early adopter before, but it just isn't worth it this time around.

i've been waiting for tiger, hope that one comes down 30...
bri @ Jan 5th 2007 8:17AM

Imadogg @ Jan 5th 2007 3:03PM
^ Click the link man, for now at least, the 360 version of Tiger just dropped $10 to $50.
alyson @ Jan 6th 2007 8:34PM
I'm curious.
Do some of you people go around looking for grammer errors, and report them to make you feel smart? Or do you do it just because you are anal? As for the games, the reason the prices are dropping is probably because they aren't that great.
softeredge @ Jan 6th 2007 8:42PM
I think the comment refers to the WWII saying, "Smoke if you gottem". Meaning, if you have a cigarette, you can smoke it now. But what do I know, I'm an old lady.
Ghost_Rider-USA @ Jan 6th 2007 8:53PM
"Grammer Errors" can change the structor of what someone is attempting to say, leaving alotta room for misinterpretation...."Buy if you got em" makes no damn sense you moron....It pisses me off when I have to try and "decode" what someone is attempting to say all because they're to stupid to actually "read it over" before posting...
Yea, i'm smart, and I don't have a pocket protector and thick black rimmed glasses either...
buck naked @ Jan 6th 2007 9:01PM
Tiger Woods 07 blows dead bears
Mr English @ Jan 6th 2007 9:44PM
Dear Ghost Rider,
You're not as smart as you think lol. It's spelled grammar, not grammer. Also i think you meant to say structure, not structor. I'm not sure what a structor is
Zakk @ Jan 6th 2007 9:53PM
AWESOME!!!!!!! Hopefully the prices will start to fall on my Atari 2600 games!!!!!!!!!! WOOOO HOOOOOO

john @ Jan 6th 2007 11:57PM
buy if you got 'em= buy the lower priced games if you 'got' one of the systems mentioned. makes sense to me.
Scott @ Jan 7th 2007 12:12AM
The public school system has failed us. Nothing new there. And yes, all those games suck ass. Ea is only cutting the price because the titles are old and nobody wants them.
Jack @ Jan 7th 2007 12:44AM
The buy if you got em comment means if you have the mentioned GAME SYSTEMS then you should buy the games that are being lowed in price for that system. I don't see where anyone would get this confused, but then I am not blonde.
Jack Enright @ Jan 7th 2007 12:48AM
Will the prices drop on the Commodore64 games I am waiting for? I am especially waiting for WagonTrain2.0 and Monitor vs. Merrimac.
Bill @ Jan 7th 2007 12:48AM
Thank you Mr. English! LOL Mr. Ghost Rider isn't quite the brain he thinks he is.
Please allow me to point out a few more errors by the Ghost Rider.
"alotta" is not a real word.
"i'm" should be I'm.
"...." at the end of every sentence, you only need one period.
james @ Jan 7th 2007 1:20AM

GRANTED THERE WERE A FEW INJURIES BUT BY GOD WE WERE'NT KEELING OVER DEAD FROM HEART ATTACKS AT 35 OR 40!! ANOTHER 2 OR 3 GENERATIONS AND IRAN COULD COME OVER AND TAKE THE COUNTRY, THESE KIDS NOW DAYS WILL BE TOO DAMN FAT TO FIGHT! I'D LIKE TO HAVE SEEN SOME OF YOU IN NAM, AS LONG AS I DIDN'T HAVE TO DEPEND ON YOU. I THINK I WOULD HAVE BEEN IN DEEP DODO THEN, BUT WHAT THE HEY HAVE ANOTHER SOFT DRINK AND A BIG BAG OF DORITOS. dee @ Jan 29th 2007 10:57PM
would someone please let me know if ps2 games are on sale.......i want to buy a few for my son.....and if they are on sale at the stores........thanks
Ginger Daul @ Jan 7th 2007 4:35AM
"Buy 'em if you got 'em" is a take off on a WWII saying that was used at the end of a meeting, etc.
It meant, "smoke 'em if you got 'em". I think it was used in every war movie ever made. That is the end of what I know about that saying, so don't get so hot at each other and using up your time on something you are all waaaay too young to know about. And PLEASE do NOT smoke 'em at all. Ginger
