I too think that using Mii avatars is a great option. Anything is better than the cheezy photos companies usually have posted.

No credit to Nintendo (or even Joystiq)? I like the idea, but give credit where credit is due.

Most of the staff of OGPlanet (the group that runs the North American server of PangYa, Albatross18: Realms of PangYa) has been recreated as Miis:

(look at support018's signature, then scroll down to support005's post for another one)

Though, it isn't used on their (rather lacking) business page, just stuff they made for the forums.

As for seeing them in the wild, Wii-centric website The Wiire uses them as well.

Oh, I just remembered...
The Nintendo Power staff now have their mugshots replaced by their Miis (through the real Mii Channel, though, not the Flash version), both in print and on Nintendo.com.

Though, they're the obvious suspects, huh?

Cute. I'd like to use my mii version instead of a pic in my ID cards.

@ #3

Use the "Print Screen" button (or equivalent) to copy the screen's image, paste it into a paint program, then crop it to the right size.

Maybe there is an alternative (and easier) way to do this, but this works well enough for me.

Hi, I'm the designer of the website in question.

Yes, I did use Joystiq's Mii creator to make the images, and took a screenshot and pasted the images into Photoshop.

The company is a start-up, and as such I was allowed more creative freedom when it came to the website. Additionally, no regular headshots were available, and I was never fan of the typical corporate bio pages so I decided to do something a little more fun.

When I presented the idea to the managers, I was delighted that they embraced the idea. Several of them worked with my while using the Mii Creator to make their Mii better. The result is what you see on the website.

Thanks for the interest!
