Today's mashiest game video: Battlestar meets Warcraft

If you were to take the opening sequence of Battlestar Galactica and make your own version of it with World of Warcraft in-game machinima, well then you'd have today's video. If they could pull off a Battlestar MMORPG, we'd be in there all day long, even if the subscription fee was $29.99 a month. There'd have to be enough copies of Number Six to go around, right?
An enterprising fan of both put this together proving once more that the world does indeed have a lot of extra time on its hands. Id want a Battlestar Shooter before an MMORPG, fragging cylons over New Caprica or during the Battle of the Resurrection ship, mmmm. Or for land Battles, the Caprica Buccaneers, Kobol, Astral Queen, or the New Caprica Resistance like GTA (only in the Battlestar way).

As a mash-up, it could've had a lot more action...
As for a Battlestar game, I'd prefer a space-shooter with ship to ship combat and a bit of on-planet FPS action. It'd be the only way to do BSG justice. ^_^

This. This is blashpemy. I mean. Battlestar Galactica...with WoW? This...this is wrong on so many levels. A BSG MMO would be awesome, but not if it looked/had the same models as WoW. Even this parody has gone too far. Whoever made this, seriously rethink being a geek.

Meh... it's kind of neat.
Anyways, I would agree that I would rather have an awesome space shooter based on the Battlestar universe rather than some MMO. I remember the fonder days of space shooters such as Freespace and Star Wars X-Wing and Tie Fighter series. Someone needs to make another one that is at least decent. I have a force feedback joystiq just sitting here... and it's so lonely.

I'd rather watch Galactica 1980 than this lame mash-up. It's like those X-Men/Star Trek crossover comics and novels. Why put these things together at all? Two great tastes that taste like crap together.
