Today's danciest game video - Five year old kid pwns in DDR

Do they start 'em all this young on video games across Asia? This little kid is either extremely gifted and will grow up to be the next Mikhail Baryshnikov, or else he's a midget posing as a little kid. One way or the other, these smooth dance moves could put plenty of adults to shame. Someone sign this kid to an endorsement deal, stat!
Check out the two-steppin' tot after the jump, and start training your kids now. We don't care what you get them started on, just be sure to upload adorable videos of your kids pushing buttons, slinging controllers, and fragging foes on the internet somewhere. It's bounds to get million of hits.

That is absolutely awesome! I still laugh everytime I see little kids at the arcade killing people at this game :)
Leo @ Jan 8th 2007 9:59AM
That's amazing! How comes I can't be that good at DDR...
Xanto @ Jan 8th 2007 12:19AM
Uh..wow is all i can say
Rami @ Jan 8th 2007 10:33PM
That little man rocks...

That kid has to be genetically engineered!
Sato @ Jan 8th 2007 1:43AM
*head explodes*

uhh wow, this kid puts me to shame... i wonder if he set up the recording himself too..
ch0rx @ Jan 8th 2007 12:53AM
this is very very old, I saw it when I still played, maybe 2 years ago.
cyberfrog @ Jan 8th 2007 10:59AM
HAHAHAH! that kid is awesome. i want to see him do double pad and fly all over em with short lil legs like some lil cyberninja. that'd be uber cool
mastertigurius @ Jan 8th 2007 9:47AM
I'm glad to see a kid playing something other than WoW and CS...and even being good at it. The kids at the school where I work should get free dancemats.

What they don't show in the video is the 100 hours or practicing until he could do even this relatively simple level.
Practice makes perfect, mot magic asian-born powers or something...
maxwellstragedy @ Jan 8th 2007 6:16PM
Cute kid, I love how his legs aren't long enough to span the mat =3
Hipple @ Jan 8th 2007 1:02AM
that's ridiculous...
uberism @ Jan 8th 2007 1:17AM
to be honest this song is not that hard... very easy actually. But very impressive still for a kid that age.
Cheezeman3000 @ Jan 8th 2007 1:28AM
Ha, a standard song? Show me a kid his age doing a heavy 10-footer and I'll be impressed. My little brother who's a year older can do 9 and 10-foot heavy songs and pass them with AA's and AAA's, no problem.
Now, don't get me wrong, the fact that this kid is five is still crazy. But it's not that unusual (especially not worthy of an endorsement deal, lol).

a kid doing well in ddr isnt anything amazing; im not that good but i see it all the time here and there.
Nohbdy @ Jan 8th 2007 2:49AM
WAY TO GO, #4! You just admitted you're a colossal liar! This was originally posted at DDRFreak and Aaron in Japan a couple of months ago. Dumbass.
genoma @ Jan 8th 2007 10:10AM
I'll match your pwns and raise you a wtfpwns.
Antonio @ Jan 8th 2007 2:34PM
Everyone knows a couple of hours equals forever on the Internet Nohbdy. ;)
Cute vid. The kid has to really spread his legs to hit the button.
zeroChaos @ Jan 8th 2007 10:21AM
haha I love the dad at the end 'sugoi yo'. Yeah, I think I'll train my offspring to be ddr kids and put 'em on a dance pad as soon as they can walk... or would that be a bad thing to do?
Jay @ Jan 8th 2007 4:48PM
Even if he is a little kid, that wasn't all that impressive. He didn't even AAA it. Now, if I saw a 5 getting a bunch of quad-stars playing ITG on Expert....that would impress me.
zq @ Jan 8th 2007 5:41PM
#19, let's see you do that. ;)
I wasn't too impressed by the video, but hey, everyone starts somewhere, and this kid is definitely in the flatter middle section of the learning curve.
